Mr. Klecha, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments and I’m very sorry we did not meet your expectations. The Shuman name has been part of the community for better than 60 years now, we could not have survived this long without providing exceptional service…I’m sorry if we fell short with you. I did have a chance to speak with everyone involved and I would first like to address your warranty. Due to the higher miles on the vehicle you purchased it was not eligible for the FCA certification program so we included a 3 month/3000 mile powertrain warranty with the vehicle. The vehicle was advertised with this 3/3 powertrain warranty, when you looked at the vehicle on our lot the 3/3 powertrain warranty was posted on the window of the vehicle, the buyers order you signed at purchase showed the 3/3 powertrain warranty, and at delivery our finance manager provided you a copy and reviewed this 3/3 Powertrain warranty with you. He then offered an option to add an additional service contract that would cover more items which you declined. So your statement that we lied to you was simply not the case. Now that being said we are certainly not without fault. When you called your salesperson a few weeks after you took delivery to let him know the Bluetooth failed on your car asking if it would be covered under your warranty he did make a mistake. Instead of looking up the details of your actual transaction he made an assumption given the year of your vehicle it was a certified car which does include a 3mo/3000 mile full mechanical warranty and told you he thought it should be covered but your local dealer would tell you for sure once they diagnose the problem. For this you have our sincere apologizes but I can assure you it was a mistake, not a lie. He would have no reason to lie as it does not change the warranty that came with the vehicle. My used car manager John Karnes said after his conversations with you he has offered a number of solutions to try and help you. He has offered to come pick up your vehicle, have you drop your vehicle off here at the dealership where we will provide you a rental vehicle at no charge, or take the vehicle to your local dealer. All we have asked for is the name of your local dealer as we would like to call and speak with their service manager in advance to let him know we will be involved with the cost of the repairs and would like to be contacted on what they find. Mr. Klecha, I’m very sorry if this will cause an inconvenience but not sure what else we can do for you at this point as your vehicle needs to go to a Chrysler dealer to diagnose the problem. We apologize for the mistake our salesperson made when you called and are offering these options to make up for it. We very much appreciate your business and hope you will take us up on our offer to help.
