When we came to pick up our new vehicle and drop off our vehicle for trade in everything was all in line and ready to go for us and all we had to do was sign a few papers. I guess I should tell you what I mean by everything ready... They contacted our insurance, they switched our registration, they changed our plates... Great Experience After test driving the Chrysler 200 at another dealership I knew this was the car I wanted but when they did the lease pricing it was way out of what After test driving the Chrysler 200 at another dealership I knew this was the car I wanted but when they did the lease pricing it was way out of what our budget could handle. They gave us no other options other than going to a Dart or Jeep which I didn't want, I left the place feeling deflated; the excitement of leasing a new car was all but gone. However, my brother knows Barney Porzondek of LaFontaine CDJ in Saline, MI so he called him. Barney called me that same day. Not only did I get the car I wanted and the price I wanted, additionally he asked me what color I'd prefer and if I'd like it with a sun roof. Barney searched a 300 mile radius to get us the car of our choice. I was amazed. Not to mention most of this was done over the phone...Wow! Agreement was made in writing via email for a new car lease. Deposit was paid and accepted (which they have now refunded). Was told a time my new car would be ready. Was getting ready to leave for the 2- lease. Deposit was paid and accepted (which they have now refunded). Was told a time my new car would be ready. Was getting ready to leave for the 2-1/2 hour drive to pick up, and they changed the deal. They raised the lease payment by over 40%! I was informed it was due to the fact that I lived out of state. I was very specific about where I lived from the start of our discussions because I was aware that different areas have different incentives on new cars. They even told that it was there mistake and I couldn't have done anything differently on my end to avoid this. They screwed up, and I understand mistakes happen but they shouldv'e honored or tried to get as close as possible to the deal we agreed on. I had checked this website prior to dealing with them and all of the ratings were good, but I definately wouldn't deal with a company that does not honor the agreements that they make (or at least try to make it right). More
