Very fast service, professional, accurate, kind. I love the service they have to pick up your car and drop it back off. I was going to go to bell tire because it was close for me to get a ride. When they informed me on the phone that they would pick up and drop off, or shuttle me to work. That sealed the deal for me. I want to service my Buick with a GM dealer. I received a video of my cars under carriage from the technician. Also it was so easy to use my Buick points on my service. I will be a loyal customer of LaFontaine. They took great care of me and my vehicle. More
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. I needed a replacement for an engine thermostat and took it in. Steve in service said 2-3 days for a quote. Numerous calls and voicemails later, i I needed a replacement for an engine thermostat and took it in. Steve in service said 2-3 days for a quote. Numerous calls and voicemails later, it took them 9 DAYS just to get me a quote! And the quote was for $2000. I brought it to a local mechanic who quoted me same same for $280 for the same fix. On top of it all, they charged me $350 just for looking at the car. Spoke with service manager Troy who did not care at all and was annoyed by my concerns and complaints. Save yourself time and money and go literally anywhere else. Service has gone down hill since Lafontaine took it over. More
Steve from the service department took great care of me and my vehicle. Sales person Mark T is the best ever. So I don’t want him to get a negative remark. But the service department on the other hand since switching from st Clair Chevy to Lafontaine is horri So I don’t want him to get a negative remark. But the service department on the other hand since switching from st Clair Chevy to Lafontaine is horrific. 4 hours for an oil change 2 twice with 2 different vehicles. Then they forgot to reset something which caused error readings and had to go back. Then took truck in for service was given an appointment for 1 week later but then the truck sat on the lot for 4 days before even being taken into the bay to get repaired. 8 days later truck was done for a simple alignment and tire rotation. Bad, bad, bad. RUN!!! More

Drop my Buick cascada off for a squeal noise coming from engine.Took first appointment because we were there on vacation. They said it would be 2 or 3 days to fix. We ask for a loaner car which they denied because we lived in Ohio. They were very good about taking us to port Huron to rent a car.The rent cost 222.00 one way to our home in Toledo. They promised us they would call with up dates. That’s a joke . We called everyday and left messages . No return calls. Left messages with service manager and our service man. After 2 weeks and no news I dialed straight to service and got a very nice lady named Shelly.She helped me talk to different people who all gave me a different story. Shelly and I became friends on a first name basis.Needless to say this went on for 5 weeks before they said my car was ready. 5 weeks without a car is a long time.when they said 2 or 3 days. Plus we had to get a ride back to dealership from our home. This was not a good customer experience.. More
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a service department. The motor blew in my 2015 Silverado. I took it to lafontaine to get it replaced. Got a quote and a time frame. They told me $8,900 and 2 weeks to do the job. 106 days later and a price of $10,000 I pick it up just to find the check engine light is on. The reason they gave me for the price difference is and I quote “we added a few things”. The real reason is they broke the fuel rails and charged me for it. They also tried to give me a warranty of only 1 year when the warranty was supposed to be for 3 years. For the inconvenience they replaced my 02 censors at no charge but that wasn’t the issue with the truck. So now 113 days into it I have a truck back that still isn’t fixed. They really don’t have a clue over there at Lafontaine of st clair. More
