I purchased a car from John Lusk. At the time of sale, I was only given one key w/transmitter. I inquired about the second set and was told that the keys were at another location and he would retrieve them was only given one key w/transmitter. I inquired about the second set and was told that the keys were at another location and he would retrieve them for me, just give him a couple of days. I emailed the dealership and called a few days later and was told by John that he asked the manager about getting me another set but since he was not in at the time, he would get back w/me. That was almost 3 weeks ago. I have called numerous times and had to leave messages. At least he should have returned my calls and let me know one way or the other. But being totally ignored and not returning my phone calls is unacceptable. I think if you spend $25,000 on a car, you should get 2 sets of keys. I inquired about the cost of the key w/transmitter and was told it would be over $50. More

I was very happy with my overall experience with LaFonataine and in particular Tony Grimaldi. He helped my son to get a new vehicle after he had a total loss in an accident with his previous vehicl LaFonataine and in particular Tony Grimaldi. I was in the market for a new LaCrosse and requested quotes from numerous Buick dealerships across multiple states. Jeff Chapel from LaFontaine contacted me via email and quoted an excellent price, far better than I received from other dealerships, so much so, that I decided to travel from NJ to MI to buy my new car from LaFontaine. I also had a trade-in, but because of the distance between us, I wasn't able to show them the car in person. They suggested I take a good video of my car and subsequently made a fair offer from that video. Their desire to work with me was impressive and it showed great customer service. Other dealers were not as flexible. It was a real pleasure working with Jeff Chapel on the details of the LaCrosse and the deal itself. He was very professional and personable. He allowed me to take my time and digest each piece of correspondence between us (we had many email exchanges). He was never pushy and very diligent. When I had a question, he would immediately respond back with an answer. Other dealerships were slow to respond (if they responded at all). Jeff is an outstanding sales professional! After the long trip to Michigan to pick up my car, James Elzerman, the finance manager, made the consummation of the deal quick and painless. I signed the documents and had keys in hand within a few short minutes - and no post-sale pressure which was appreciated. The trip to Michigan from New Jersey was well worth it.
