I had been looking for a car for a while, and finally found one I liked online at LaFontaine. Unfortunately it was several states away, and I was not able to travel there to look at it. I hesitated considering buying a car sight unseen, but I called anyway. Jason took my call. He emailed me extra pictures, and answered my questions in a manner so that I felt comfortable in proceeding with the purchase. I asked to have it shipped. Jason called me back and said it would not be ready to ship until their shop made some repairs. Even after my payment was received, another repair was made. As it took several days to process all of the paperwork through the mails, Jason called me often, keeping me updated, and just keeping in touch, without being obnoxious. I was still apprehensive about what I would actually receive. Would it be as described? Yes, it was. I was very pleased with Jason, and my new vehicle. Even after the car was delivered, Jason called me to make sure everything was all right. I requested some additional information, thinking I would not receive it - why should he accommodate me now? - the deal was done. Lo and behold, Jason came through again. This was my first time buying a car and the patience and hard work that Gary Hart and John Nabozny showed, made what was at first a very stressful time in my life and turned it into a pleasant and exciting experience! Gary was very knowledgeable about the industry and worked around the clock to find the best car for me. I ended up buying a 2013 Buick Verano and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I found the vehicle I wanted on the web and got a hold of Jason when I called the dealership. When I showed up he had the vehicle cleaned up and ready to go. This was the most professional and least stressful car buying experience ever. Went to this dealer to purchase a new 2013 Buick Verano. Jason was our sales guy and was always happy to help us. He is a very friendly guy and wasn't too aggressive in selling us the car--you could tell he wanted the sale, but still gave us our personal space and decisionmaking time (not all the dealers we visited did this), which I appreciated. In one instance we arrived at the dealership when he was out for lunch, but was more than happy to help us when he got back; he didn't seem bothered at all by our timing. The dealership as a whole was also excellent. The cars were kept in excellent shape and the staff there were professional but very friendly at the same time; and if you want free bottles of water, they'll offer them to you each visit! LaFontaine is a big, trustworthy company. Would recommend. More
I had been looking online for a used Jeep Cherokee for about 3 weeks. I went to all the websites and found a great 2002 Grand Cherokee at Lafontaine Buick GMC on Jackson Rd in ann Arbor. It was reasonably about 3 weeks. I went to all the websites and found a great 2002 Grand Cherokee at Lafontaine Buick GMC on Jackson Rd in ann Arbor. It was reasonably priced and with the low mileage was a car I wanted. They did their inspection (it had only been in the dealers possession for a few days) and found it needed some front end work. After putting brakes all around, new ball joints and tie rods and a fresh set of tires I took it for a test drive to my mechanic. After his OK I decided to buy the Jeep. After comparing price, mileage, condition of the car and how it drove we came to a price that looked good to me so I bought it. Jason was very good, keeping in touch while the Jeep was prepped and worked on, and honored the price we agreed on even though they spent a good deal of money for repairs and could have gotten at least 1000 - 1500 dollars more for the Jeep. Earlier this year around march 2012 the engine light came on in my 2008 buick enclave so I took my auto to at that time Mack buick, they told me the car needed 3 new timing chains. The car was still under warranty so I consentented for them to do the work after I received the car back I noticed a unfamiliar winning noise when in low accelaration around 2000 RPM so I assumed some new parts needed to be broken in,but after a number of weeks the sound was still there I thought to take the car back in. after checking it I was told they could not reproduce the problem. Taking the car back the problem was still there. I noticed the problem appeared when the engine was warm.So latter I took the car back in. At this time the dealer had changed to LaFontain. So I went on a test ride with the service personell and was able to point out the noise with their acknowledgment. So I left the car with them, It was kept A good solid month. finally I was called to pick the car up with no real promise that the problem was solved. After picking the car up and taking I-94 east to Ypsilanti before I got to state st. the noise to my disappointment was still there. I called the next day to let them know, speaking to Derek Schema. He acknoledged they were doing all they could do, even bringing in a engineer from GM. Yet the annoying noise was not solved. Some time later my engine light came on agian so I took it to the dealer again,the light problem was solved I was told that they thought they could solve the noise problem. So I left the car to be fixed,the car was again kept a good solid month. I received the car early november 2012 the next day I drove the car to ST.Louis MO.to A church convention,the car did wel but after I arrived their I noticed the noise 3 or 4 times. I would say the car is 85 percent fixed to this day. 12/10/2012 I was charged $297.56 for 1 replacement headlamp bulb,part only.Latter I took the bad bulb to a auto parts store, and was told they had the same part for $99.99. I fill had. More
