I'm updating this to a 1 star review for what has now become the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Here's what happened: 8/1: Purchased vehicle and was issued temporary plates 10/29: Tempor become the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Here's what happened: 8/1: Purchased vehicle and was issued temporary plates 10/29: Temporary plates expired & didn't received DMV plates yet 11/3: I called the DMV and they said they haven't received title/reg info. I called LA Auto Exchange and they told me they submitted the title/reg info via third party. They offered to issue new temporary plates and mail them to me. 11/20: 17 days later, I still haven't received the DMV plates nor the temporary plates as promised. 11/20 10:05am: I called the DMV and they said they're STILL waiting for the title/reg to be sent. I called LA Autoexchange AGAIN, explained the situation, and the person I spoke to on the phone says the third party is onsite, he'll talk to them and they'll follow up with me the same day. This has been a colossal waste of time for what should be a routine business transaction. My current advice is to stay away since they can't manage to handle business as expected. Not only has this been a colossal waste of time, but these guys are straight up lying to me at this point. More
