Quite simply, they lie. I leased a car from them, leased another car and just bought it out. I was told that I could purchase a powertrain warranty for $295 at the time of my buyout. I wanted to discuss w another car and just bought it out. I was told that I could purchase a powertrain warranty for $295 at the time of my buyout. I wanted to discuss with someone else and asked if I could get back to him (Tony). I decided to purchase the warranty approximately 10 days later. I called Tony to see if it was still available and he checked with his boss Tommy and I was told yes they would do it. I was told to come in the next day and meet with Marie. I arrived at the dealership and sat down with Maria who proceeded to tell me that because I didn't purchase it at the time of buyout that they would have to do a 125 point inspection at my additional cost of $385. I was NEVER told that. I was told that I could make a decision after buyout date but don't wait to long. I called to check if the purchase opportunity was still available and was told it was. Then like the sneaky sly group they are, they tried to force me into an additional $385 cost. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. I ADVISE ANYONE LOOKING FOR A LINCOLN OR A NEW CAR, GO ELSEWHERE!! More
The car (2000 Cougar) has been an unreliable defective xxx, so I've had plenty of opportunities to deal with the service dept. In my expereience L&B is the only shop that can reliably diagnose problems. O xxx, so I've had plenty of opportunities to deal with the service dept. In my expereience L&B is the only shop that can reliably diagnose problems. OK, they did miss one factory bullletin, but in all other cases they got it right. Joe is a great advisor - friendly, responsive, accomodating, and helpful. He makes an already annoying situation as bearable as possible. I'm by now totally turned off to Ford product and will be shopping elsewhere; Joe and the L&B service dept. will be the one thing I miss. More
This privately owned dealer offers friendly sales professionals and very good buying experience. I was looking to replace my Explorer which was to come off lease in three months. I was looking for a professionals and very good buying experience. I was looking to replace my Explorer which was to come off lease in three months. I was looking for an entry level Mountaineer with some creature comforts. After talking to the sales person on the phone and explaining my budget and what I wanted, we visited him at the dealer.<br>After we sat down he went in the back and pulled up in brand new Mountaineer Premier model and wanted us to test drive it. I told him this is not in my price range, so why bother. He told me to drive the car and then we will discuss the price...so I did. We were sold and he gave me a no money down lease and picked up the balance of lease payments on my Explorer. He gave us a great deal on the car and the subsequent services on the vehicle were very reasonable. This is the best dealer experience I have ever had and I would do it all over again. More
