I asked questions and he either fumbled around searching online for the answer or didn't answer my questions. I was very interested in one of the cars and was seriously considering it. I am planning to pay cash, which I will have in one week, and asked if there was a way to hold the car. Back at the dealership, the salesperson said he would print info on that car so I could review it as I made my decision. Then I waited for ten minutes for the sales manager to talk to me before leaving. He said he thought I would have the money tomorrow not in one week, then said goodbye. The service was terrible and I felt like I wasn't taken seriously. It would have been a very easy sale for them. I will find a similar car elsewhere. More

Also when I had to get the tires changed, the rear tires were from 2012, which doesn't makes sense when the car is a 2021. The sad part is, when the wheel hubs in the front were changed, it was pointed out to me that the wheel sensors on both sides looked like they were sheared off due to the bad wheel hubs. So tell me, do you really think I'm going to that dealership to have them fix anything to my car if they sent the car home with me in that condition? Honestly if I could give this place zero stars I would. More

I knew it had higher miles but I assumed that the vehicle was fully inspected and with the Kunes warranty would be a good deal. 2 weeks after driving off the lot, there was a horrible rattle in the front. I called the dodge dealership in Elkhorn assuming that would be the best place to get a Dodge from Kunes serviced. They looked at it but couldn't find anything wrong. They noted at the time that there was concerning wear on the rear brake rotors. They also noted a recall and said they would order the parts. In the meantime I contacted Jake Trainor with the concerns about the brakes. Supposedly they were going to work out a deal with their sister dealership to comp part of a brake job. 1 week later I called to find out where the recall was at. The part was never ordered. And it sounded like the internal conversation never happened. When the part arrived, the rattle was back and worse, so the Elkhorn dealership took care of the recall and found the noise was from a failure of the power transfer unit to the AWD. They said the car should not be driven until it was fixed. I immediately contacted Jake again. I was told they would look into it and get back to me. A couple days went by and no word so I called Elkhorn. They had not been called by Madison at all. It took another week and a half before Madison finally got the car in their shop to evaluate. I again mentioned the brake concerns, and by this time, I had attempted to replace the front brakes as part of the 100k service. I found that one of the slide pins was seized up. I checked the rear brakes as well and found both pins were seized on the driver side. Having put less than 1k miles since purchasing, I was adamant the problem was there during the presale inspection. I was told they would address those issues as well. It took another 3 weeks before they finally had the part and got it installed. The entire time, I had to facilitate a loaner from one of their newer local dealerships to me in Beloit. That team did a great job and seemed to be the only ones concerned with how this experience was dragging on. I was the one calling to get updates from Jake or the Madison service manager. I purchased the car in mid-march and finally had it in the driveway for good in late May. I took care of the front brakes since I had the parts already. The pin was free and so I assumed they did what they said and fixed the seized pins. In December I noticed the rear brakes started squeaking like they should when they are wearing out. I ordered rotors and pads and jumped into the routine job. Imagine my surprise when I took off the driver caliper and found the pin wasn't just seized but the dust boot was torn and the pin was so rusted the boot was bulged. In 9 months, I have put 5k miles on it and spent over $1500 in parts And the $100 warranty deductible for the power transfer unit work. I thought going to one of the bigger dealer families in the area would be a great experience. I couldn't have been more wrong. As I look at needing to replace my wife's vehicle I know where I won't be shopping. More

I went in to the test drive totally sure that I wanted to buy the vehicle, but the continued pressure and uncomfortable financing discussion made me walk away. Despite having run an estimated financing/monthly payment online, we were presented an estimate over 2x that amount. When talking through why it was so much higher than expected, it seemed like every item was a battle: sticker price, interest rate, declining the dealer-added coverage, trade-in value. As we were trying to leave to think about it, we were flat out asked "what does your payment need to be to sign this today?", after I'd continually communicated that the payment was not so much the issue as the overall price and interest rate. When asking about the vehicle history being a lease, the salesperson was pretty rude and made several pejorative generalizations about "the types of people who rent cheap vehicles vs a nicer brand". He also made several off-color comments about other dealerships in the area. Our experience with Trevor was most pleasant. He was the most transparent of people we talked with, and I appreciated his candor. Overall, they were most competitively priced for the vehicle we were looking at, but a total lack of trust made us uncomfortable purchasing from them. More
Buyer beware here they happy to sell your young Daughter her 1st car. Went for a ride in and told her the backend has a clunking sound. She took it in they said it was the wear on the back tires. I told her her 1st car. Went for a ride in and told her the backend has a clunking sound. She took it in they said it was the wear on the back tires. I told her take to a reputable tire shop. They looked at it and said it was the broken sway bar links make the noise. A. The do not back the cars they sell. B. The mechanic shop thought she was young she would know the difference. So I was folks buyer beware! Drive to another dealership and buy your car. More
