Purchasing experience at Kunes Ford of Antioch Illinois My wife and I were just looking to purchase a used Black Ford Edge Limited with AWD. My daughter and I had met George Bell while her and I were just window shopping. George Bell was very polite and knowledgeable on Ford products. He Answered all my questions. My daughter and I are the type that do not like aggressive sales persons that pressure a person, or hang on you, She mentioned she likes the Ford Fusion and George showed us many options, We left that evening both very impressed with George and said we would return and give Kunes a chance to sell us a car . Like I said before, my wife and I were just looking, George Bell showed us a few Edges in my choices, got some figures together that were exceptional and we drove out that night with my like new/used 2013 Black Ford Edge AWD, George went above and beyond my expectations for a sales man, Came back two nights later to finalize and sign the required papers and George did confirm in writing his promises to us, and then some. I had a poor outlook and a bad experience from a prior dealership but The whole sales team, including Tom Fhor and last but not least... George Bell area a top notch.A+ Dealer, I have nothing to gain by writing this review, just wanted to share a GREAT EXPERIENCE had at Kunes Ford of Antioch, Illinois. More

Changing previous review.after I finally got my remote.. On 4/20/2014 I submitted a glowing review for Kuhns Ford and Mr. Olson for my purchase on 4/19 of a 2011 Ford Fiesta. Now I am changing my review bas On 4/20/2014 I submitted a glowing review for Kuhns Ford and Mr. Olson for my purchase on 4/19 of a 2011 Ford Fiesta. Now I am changing my review based on my experienced since purchasing the car. When I was delivered the keys, I asked Mr. Olson where the remote device was and he said they would find it and get it to me. The window sticker on the car advertised a remote keyless entry so of course I expected one. I am handicapped and this device is helpful to me. After many emails back and forth promising the remote, my last 4 went unanswered, I contacted Ford HQ and received a prompt reply from Maureen, who promised to contact the regional manager and relay my concerns. After a week I contacted Maureen again who said the best place to resolve my concern was the dealership! I replied that the dealership was no longer replying to my emails. The remote keyless entry device is meant to lock/unlock the doors. I received a phone call Saturday from Mr.Olson that he had ordered an aftermarket remote which should be in next week and he will call when it is in, and I can bring in the car and he will program it. Then today I received a call from Mr. Andrew Kelly, the sales manager, who apologized and told me if I would bring the car in today at 1 p.m. he would have a locksmith there with a remote and would program it right then. It took him abouit 20 seconds to program it. I appreciate the followup. Ford HQ and the Kunz sales manager finally got what I needed. I still recommend Mr. Olson as a salesman for his hard work getting me the car I wanted and the financing I needed. Virginia Vehnekamp More

I explained the situation to Tony over the phone and bottom line, Kunes was able to work it out through their network of lenders to where other dealerships I had contacted were not. I was greeted immediately upon walking through their doors and handled with the utmost professionalism and care. They worked with me to find a vehicle that met my traveling needs and financial needs.
