Once the sale paperwork is done it all goes to xxxx. Picked up car and the oil change warning is on saying the vehicle is 800 miles past service. We call and the sales manager apologizes and arranges a time for us to bring it back to have it done. I get there at the arranges time and no one seems to know about the appointment and the sales manager is not there. I discuss the issue with the person in service who very kindly expedites the service. While waiting I go upstairs to try and get a copy of the paperwork. While I am there the service person comes up and says the car is ready. She goes in to say that it HAD actually been done before delivery of the car however they had not reset the computer on the car. The car is running so I get in and drive home. The next morning I go to start the car and the service warning comes on telling me I am a 1000 miles past the service schedule. WTH. The computer was still either not reset or the service was not completed. Now I call and leave a message for the sales manager. It’s 3 days later and no return call. Once I get a return call I guess I will have to try and schedule another trip to the dealership (during working hours) to have them look at it again. Experience started out great then fell apart right after the sale was completed. Very dissalointing as no one seems to care! More

From start to finish, they provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to ensure that I found the perfect car for my needs. Nick and Alex were incredibly knowledgeable about the cars they sell, and they were able to provide helpful insights into the features and benefits of each car I was considering. They took the time to listen to my needs and preferences, and they worked tirelessly to find a car that met all of my requirements. They were patient, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process, and I felt comfortable and confident with every step of the journey. What impressed me the most was their level of attention and care. They treated me with respect, courtesy, and professionalism, and they made me feel valued as a customer. They took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns, and they worked hard to ensure that I got the best deal possible. Overall, I cannot recommend Kunes CDJR of Sycamore and Nick and Alex Trybulec enough. They truly provide exceptional service, and they made my car-buying experience a positive and stress-free one. We have purchased a couple of new vehicles from them over the years, and have had those vehicles serviced at this dealership, as well as other vehicles that we purchased elsewhere. We have always received quick, professional, courteous, and honest service at a fair price. I oftentimes work on my own cars so I would know if this dealership was dishonest or incompetent. Because they are so fair, professional, and trustworthy, I bring my vehicles here when there is work needed that I cannot handle or simply do not want to deal with at the time. I highly recommend them. More
This was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. They promised some work as part of the deal and then, it took them three weeks to complete the work. They even brought me the car halfway through that time with half the work not even done, even though I had been promised everything was completed. I’m not sure whether they were hoping I wouldn’t notice or what. There was always one excuse right after another, like we forgot, we’re short staffed, we’ve had a lot of turnover, we’ve been really busy. OK well, none of that is my fault and when you are running a business, you should not let your customers suffer because of the issues with your company. Not to mention, the communication was absolutely terrible overall with the sales person and the manager I was dealing with. I had to call and text several times because they weren’t responding to my messages. The left hand never k ew what the right hand was doing, so the communication is clearly terrible amongst staff as well. I would never buy a car from this place again. I even expressed to one manager that I felt like that and his only response was “I’m sorry you feel that way.“ There was no let’s see what else we can do to make this right or anything. I expected way more from a dealership who claims to be a Christian organization. I was/am very disappointed. More
Bait and switch artists. After driving 2 hours to this dealership the car was $9000 more than it was advertised online. $9000! That’s a huge difference!! After I asked about the car and said I was going to come buy it, they changed the price online….when I showed him the screenshot of the price I saw online they blamed car gurus and said they don’t have to honor the price online. They also lied to me about the price they were going to give me for my trade. It ended up being $4000 less. They also had me fill out a loan for a down payment that was supposed to be included in my monthly payment, but it was not, so I have an extra loan on top of my car payment. The bottom of the bumper was smashed on my car and the general manager Phil Lafata, said he was going to fix the bumper for free and get me a free set of tires, he did not. And he will not return my phone calls. They even went as far as to tell me that he got fired. However, when I talked to a different person that worked there and they confirmed that he did not get fired and he still works there. I also spent 7 hours in the dealership that day, I got there at 10 AM and I was already preapproved for my loan and I didn’t leave there until 5 PM because they gave me the run around with every aspect of the purchase. They will lie to you about everything every question you ask they just tell you what you want to hear, not the truth. Definitely the worst car buying experience I have ever had. They keep saying that they have 40 dealerships and so you want to trust what they say, like they have lots of experience, but they do not. They are very unprofessional, con artists. If you were wondering why I still went through with the purchase after all of this it’s because I was purchasing a rare car that I could not find anywhere else and I really wanted that particular car. More

Once the purchase is over, do not expect then to stand behind ANYTHING they said. Will never answer phone calls or return phone calls. Manager will not even answer the phone. No one seems to know anything behind ANYTHING they said. Will never answer phone calls or return phone calls. Manager will not even answer the phone.
