I initially contacted this dealership on 2/25/22 on a vehicle that was listed for an x amount. After dealing with a salesman who lowballed me severely I was contacted by the GM, Stephany Whitted on 2/28/ vehicle that was listed for an x amount. After dealing with a salesman who lowballed me severely I was contacted by the GM, Stephany Whitted on 2/28/22. She followed up to see if there’s any help she could provide to earn my business. I explained to her respectfully but did not receive any reply back from her directly. Early morning of 2/28/22 I was contacted by Shane Gillenwater and he stated that Stephany reached out to him and that they were not trying to play any games. He asked “ What are the numbers that would make you are a buyer on our truck?”. My last communication received from this dealership was on 3/1/22 @ 8:39am and i was asked “Where are you coming up with that number?”. I immediately sent him screenshots of 2 vehicles that were being sold on this same website for several thousands more than what I was asking for on a trade in. One of those vehicles had more miles than mines and the other has 200 miles less than mines but wasn’t loaded with as many things as the vehicle I was willing to trade. Keep in mind that throughout all of this, since I initially contact this dealership they have dropped the price on the vehicle on two separate occasions. More
My wife and I bought a 2022 Grand Cherokee from Kunes in Belvidere. Right from the start Brian Androwich was very helpful and understanding in what we were looking for. This by far was the easiest low stressed buying process that we have ever had. We highly recommend going to see Brian and Shane if your in the market for a Jeep or any other Chrysler product. I've been buying new vehicles for 20+ years and this is BY FAR the best and easiest experience I've ever had. The conversation started with Steve (sales) over email and eventually included Shane (manager) BY FAR the best and easiest experience I've ever had. It was a matter of hours going back and forth via email and then began the drive out to the dealer. Mind you this dealer was 1.5+ hours away. So I was gearing up for a fight if they were to try to pull any gimmicks after I arrived. I was in complete shock when we drove away from the dealer in under 2 hours with the car. THANKS GUYS (and I'm sorry I doubted you)!!! More
About 7 months ago, I purchased a set of tires from Kunes. Two things created problems for me. First, when I got home and looked at my credit card statement, I noticed I was charged over $30 more than Kunes. Two things created problems for me. I contacted the dealership, and they said that there was a new policy that credit card purchases would be charge a 3% service fee. This was a new policy, and it was never stated to me. Secondly, I had priced out tired at three places, and the prices were about the same. With the tires I would get free balancing and rotation for the life of the tire. I went with Kunes because I thought it would make things more simple. When I went to get my free balance and rotation I was informed that the purchase did NOT include free balancing. In the past 30 years, I have NEVER purchased tires without free balance and rotation. I have had no problem with the people at the dealership. I have a BIG problem with the false, and misleading information that I receive. I have made my last visit to Kunes' service! More
Overall I liked the experience of purchasing a new pacifica hybrid. There was no pressure to buy any unwanted warranty or other protection packages. The only issue I had was that no one in the dealership was aware that chrysler removed remote connectivity for my pacifica trim and they kept assuring me that the app would work. Only after a few days of purchase, they told me that my trim doesn’t support remote connectivity through app. That was a big disappointment. More
