We wanted something reliable and that we loved. We ended up driving a few different vehicles we were focused on one in particular. The next day after a whole lot of thinking and discussing we ended up driving away with a 2011 Ford F-150 love the color!! Drives amazing! Couldn't be happier! Amazing service and people are great! We gave him our lease requests and told him we had fifteen minutes to talk; he never flinched, but gave us a short look at the cars we were interested in. Then we said we would be back on the following Thursday afternoon and requested details on two models. Mark followed up and on the next Thursday, after only two hours, we drove off with a car and a lease that met our needs. No pressure to accept substitutes or purchase upgrades we didn't want. To those a Kunes Country, First off let me state that Mark Jennison was exemplary in his effort and dedication to the entire experience both my wif To those a Kunes Country, First off let me state that Mark Jennison was exemplary in his effort and dedication to the entire experience both my wife and I had while locating our 2013 Escalade. I had reached out to several dealers who showed limited interest in my search and choice, but, fell short of the experience and satisfaction of locating said vehicle. Mark stayed with the opportunity. He was in constant contact, and understood my mindset and desire. The style and type was as important to us as was the price. Mark coordinated the entire transaction up to and including the final reprogramming of one of the Key FOB's. Mark took the height of our impression to a point of exceeding expectations. This occurred when the vehicle was delivered to us along with proper vehicle registration and the necessary documents that needed to be signed. The condition of the Escalade was excellent as Mark described which also exceeded our expectations. Keep in mind I purchased this vehicle sight unseen. This impressed both my wife Lori and I. Mark's attention to detail is impressive. We understand that a Ford Dealership was just purchased by Kunes Country in Sterling Illinois were we have a home. We verified this on Sunday 4-5-15 by driving by the location and saw the Kunes sign out in front. Our plan is to take our new purchase to the Sterling Dealership service department for upkeep and maintenance. A special thank you to Kris (in your finance department) for her follow up and courtesy. Kris called late in the day to ensure that all of the financing and related questions were answered and coordinated prior to the delivery. She was also in contact with me in the days to follow to ensure that all went well. Interestingly, Kris's call to us was exactly within the hour that Mark had indicated. This reflects a coordination between your departments that exceeds expectations. This is our dream vehicle, but the Kunes experience was equally a dream to go through. On Saturday 4-4-15 I took the vehicle to Kunes to have the FOB reprogrammed and to meet Mark. As busy as he was he took a moment of his time to shake my hand and thank me for my business. I had my daughter, son in law, and grandson with me. They were very impressed with all the vehicles in your inventory, most interestingly, my grandson and son in law immediately located a truck that they wanted. Your parts department (Dan D. and the team) were professional and courteous. The technician was waiting for me as I pulled up to complete the FOB reprogram. Again, as I was driving there Mark was on the phone with me, giving me directions, and assuring me that anything I needed would be taken care of. He never left my side. My family was so appreciative of Mark's effort that we texted him Saturday night to wish him and his family a Blessed Easter. Just to say thank you for Marks' efforts is not enough. God Bless you Mark and a special thank you to the Kunes team for fulfilling a long time dream. Scott, Ron, you've got a heck of a team here. Good luck in your 2015 efforts to increase your footprint in Illinois. I've already recommended Kunes, and Mark Jennison, to Joe Ribbich one of my teammates in Johnson Controls as he is looking for a full size vehicle due to his increasing family size. I believe Joe reached out to Mark. I will be in JCI's Milwaukee headquarters tomorrow and check back with Joe to see if he had reached out to Mark. Handled an Issue with great customer service I went to get my car an Oil Change and my Tires rotated (2/20/15) I was told that they couldn't do a tire rotation because of the lug nuts that were I went to get my car an Oil Change and my Tires rotated (2/20/15) I was told that they couldn't do a tire rotation because of the lug nuts that were breaking or broke from what Sam told me that was working the desk. I got charged for lug nuts that I didn't ok for and I told him not to do the tire rotation which obviously they didn't but yet I still got charged for it. Come to find out the lug nuts were perfectly fine. To make a long story short, everything was taken care of. I appreciated the way Dan took care of the situation and resolved the issue like a Manager should and provided me with great customer service. I still recommend this dealer for people looking to purchase a car. Thank You. More

After much thought & consideration, we decided to visit Kunes Country Chevrolet GMC Buick of Elkhorn. We packed up the baby and went there on a weekday night. Right away we were greeted by sales associate Jeremy Millian. He was very patient and friendly as he helped us find what we were looking for. At no time did we feel rushed or pressured. We did have a negation session over how much our trade in was really worth- which is to be expected. We did leave with what we wanted after trading in our used car. The total process took about four hours. The woman in the finance department was also very helpful and understanding as she explained terms. Unfortunately her name escapes me. Overall I recommend this dealership & Jeremy in the sales department. Everything went pretty smooth and fast - which is wonderful considering we had a 10 month old with us! More

Recent purchase of 2014 GMC Sierra Denali. I recently was in the market for a new GMc truck. I found after searching that Kunes GMC in Elkhorn had it in stock. I drove 70 miles to see the truc I recently was in the market for a new GMc truck. I found after searching that Kunes GMC in Elkhorn had it in stock. I drove 70 miles to see the truck and was disappointed with its condition. It Was a new vehicle but used as a demo vehicle. The vehicle was filthy. That should have been my first clue to leave. I was indecisive about buying a demo or ordering a new 2015, vs the 2014. The saleman, Ben, was good to deal with for the most part. I decided to buy the truck and come back to pick it up close to the end of the day to give them time to clean it up. Not until the next day did I realize the mistake. I ended up paying a body shop to buff the scratches out, and touch up all the rock chips I couldn't see the night before in the dark. It also took two weeks to get rid of the strawberry smell from he air fresheners. Part of the deal was my truck had after market wheels on it and the dealership didn't want them, they wanted he factory wheels. I drove home, 70 miles each way to get the wheels for them. They were going to remove the wheels the next morning so I could come pick them up. I traded in the truck and it had 8 wheels and 8 tire pressure sensors with it. I was to be given back my wheels as per the paperwork signed by the dealership. Needless to say the wheels were "removed" from the bed of the truck while in their possession. 2 months later and I still don't have my wheels back. They stole the wheels off my truck and have refused to give them to me, even though the paperwork states they are mine. Numerous emails to saleman, Ben, have gone unanswered. Numerous phone calls and I get bounced around between saleman, sales manager, and then told they would call me Monday. Monday came and went two weeks ago and I still haven't heard back from them. Emails still go unresponded too. Very shady dealership, and can't be trusted. I will not be back and will recommend friends and family stay away from this place. They also attempted to add $150 more in state fees in the finance office since I was from out of state for a title transfer fee, which is BS as my last two trucks were bought out of state. When I told them I wasn't paying and I was leaving they said oops those are wrong we will remove them. In the end I got e truck I wanted at a fair price, but it wasn't worth the BS I have been through. Had I known that day I would have waited for a new 2015 and paid more elsewhere. They also have my traded in truck listed as a one owner accident free trade. The truck was involved in an accident, but they still advertise it as accident free. Save your money and headache and buy elsewhere. Several of their brand new vehicles had paint damage to them as well, according to them their detailers like to burn the paint with the buffer. More
