After an incredibly unplanned and long week of car-totaling fun and rental car driving, I came to Kunes to get a new-to-me car. Everyone was *incredible.* Very kind, and made the experience far less stressful than I was anticipating. I had done a good amount of research before coming to Kunes on what I was looking for and what my budget was, but was also given alternatives if I would like to see those based on what my likes and needs were. When I initially went to Kunes, I was looking at trading in my 2010 Civic sedan for a mid to full size sedan. Ryan had mentioned leasing a vehicle, but I wasn't interested in a lease, only because I had it in my mind that leasing was bad. After looking a few cars and a few hours later I picked a used car. Ryan got with Matt, the finance manager, and started to run the numbers. After 10-15 minutes Matt came over to talk to me. He talked to me about the car I had chosen and what the banks were asking for as a monthly payment, which turned out to be way out of my price range. He then talked to me about leasing a brand new car. He ran the perks of leasing over buying and how it would benefit me in the end versus hurting me. Although the car isn't much bigger than the Civic, Matt and Ryan put me in a 2013 Chevy Cruze ( The one I wanted ) for the same price as what I was paying for my Civic. My wife agreed that this was the best route for me as well because I like to trade my cars in every 2-3 years, so it works perfect. Everybody at Kunes is extremely friendly and personable. Some of the other sales guys even set my 3-yr old son up in a Suburban on the showroom floor with some popcorn, bottle of water, and played Sponge Bob on the DVD system in the Suburban while my wife and I finalized everything for the Cruze. Shane was excellent throughout the whole process and even after the purchase with a follow up. I had a terrible experience at another dealership and was not looking forward to working with any other salesmen after the purchase with a follow up. Well let me just start by saying that my/our experience with the Kunes Country Auto Group was nothing short of amazing. I had received several phone calls and parcels of mail from Kunes prior to the phone with the Kunes Country Auto Group was nothing short of amazing. Nevertheless, for some reason I took this call and listened to the young lady's conversation. I had an hidden agenda because my wife's birthday was coming up on Saturday the ninth and she had been wanting this ford fusion(RED). So we talked and then she put me on hold and came back and said that we were qualified and when did we want to come in. Yeah right I thought. Nevertheless. Wednesday is my off day, so we set a time and that was that. Wednesday morning I took my wife to work, had breakfast with her and then proceeded to Delavan, WI. Upon arriving I met with Mr. Matt Miller, who was very cordial and seemed easy going. Once he seated me and offered me refreshments, he went to check on a few things. When He came back he told me that he was going to bring up the car and see what I thought about it. Well what do you know, Mr. Miller pulls up in a Red Fusion, and mind you , I never once mentioned a color. So for me the deal was pretty much sealed right there, that was conformation enough for me, that this was the right place and right time to get her a new/used car.
