I had an engine light and fault code(P0128) relating to the engine coolant temperature sensor on my 2017 Buick LaCrosse. I took it into Kunes of Oak Creek last October 24th and was quoted around $750 to ch the engine coolant temperature sensor on my 2017 Buick LaCrosse. I took it into Kunes of Oak Creek last October 24th and was quoted around $750 to change it out. Expensive for sure with alot of the cost being labor to get to it under the intake. The part was only $16. Ouch. I left the car at Kunes Oak Creek and before they started the work I called back into Sergio(Service Advisor) and asked what the additional cost would be to replace the thermostat since it's literally located right next to the temperature sensor. He said that would be a another $650-$700 (parts included) to do that. I said "What?, that's expensive." He said the labor is again most of it. I mentioned that the tech already had it apart for the sensor, he would just need to replace the full thermostat part(thermostat and pipe). Sergio was trying to double bill some labor that was overlapping and I thought some money could be saved by replacing the thermostat assembly at the same time. Nope! I declined the work. Replacing the thermostat wasn't recommended by Kunes, I was the one trying to be proactive and have it fixed it even though it might be ok. They finished the work and I picked up the car on October 27th and paid the final bill of $775. Good to go right? Nope. Within 3 weeks I got the check engine light and P0128 code again. I take it back over to Kunes when it was happening so they could see it's not yet fixed. This time I dealt with Alex B.(on the job 2-3 weeks) the new Service Manager. I told him the story as mentioned above and he agreed that there was overlapping labor that could've been saved. He said he would look into it, talk to the higher up's and get back to me on a solution. He said he was playing catch-up as he was new to Kunes Oak Creek and was sorting through backlogs and stuff from before him working there. He also read the ODB and the same code and same symptom were happening. The car worked fine other than the fan running and check engine light/code happening. That was mid November......never heard back from Alex. December 18th. I email Alex checking in and refreshing him on the situation(my actual email was longer than that). He replied the next morning saying that he left a voicemail and apologized for not getting back to me yet due to the same reason of backlogs and now being short staffed a service advisor as well. He mentioned that he was not putting me off as they actually had customers waiting even longer....Huh? At least my car ran and the code came and went, annoying to say the least but drivable. I didn't reply to the email as Christmas was upcoming. Fast forward to February 8th when I took the car back over to Kunes to have Alex see the code and symptoms that were still happening. I refreshed him and pointed to my car in the service bay drive and he immediately remembered why I was there. The engine light and code were on again. He advised that if I could leave the car that night he would have his tech who worked on the car look at it to confirm the issue was still happening. Diagnosis on Friday(9th) was the thermostat. Huh? Imagine that? Alex said he had to leave early and Terrell, another SA would be taking care of me to get it checked in. Before I got home Terrell had texted me to say he'd keep me posted as to the cost. The next morning(Friday) Terrell texted to say that Kunes could get the job done for $550, basically no labor. I texted him back and said the part cost was only $175-$220 depending on what dealership you get the part from. Where is the other $300 coming from? I said go ahead and we'll discuss the final bill when I pick it up. The car was finished 2/13/24. Terrell led me to the cashier where I learned the final price for this service was $338. Parts and shop supplies. I was happy with that. I wasn't happy feeling like a forgotten customer. 10 days removed from the service and the car is doing fine. Hoping it stays that way. More

The first visit we went over ever Justin was my sales person.( great guy) I had in mind what vehicle I wanted but was very unsure about the purchase. The first visit we went over everything and looked at a few vehicles than I left. Slept on it then came back the next day. I told Justin what all features I wanted so once we started to go over the details in the vehicle he had found me the prefect match. I am now a owner of a 2024 Buick Envista‼️Thank you so much Justin, you’re the best😘 More
I had a bad time at another dealer! So Kunes invited me to come look at their cars. They led me on just like the others did. I walked out without a car when they said I was approved!!! I bought my car on August 30, 2023. I will start this with I do enjoy my vehicle but...I am very disappointed in Kunes Dealership. I will not buy another car from them. When buying the I will start this with I do enjoy my vehicle but...I am very disappointed in Kunes Dealership. I will not buy another car from them. When buying the car I was given 1 fob and I told them I would need a second one. I was told no problem. My mistake was not getting in writing. It was a very impulsive buy and I did make a few mistakes. Also the guy selling me the vehicle never went thru the features that the car has. I keep finding new things that I had no clue I have. After the sale I did reach out to one of the managers Brian 3 times with questions and some info on my trade in. Never heard back. Still no fob. Then I brought it in for an oil change and I told I the guy I was holding off on my review until I could maybe resolve the fob issue. He also promised me a fob and a call from the Manager Brian. Nothing but crickets. I'm sure I made a mistake buying a vehicle without my husband or son-in-law with ie: A woman buying a vehicle alone. Needless to say I am very disappointed and I will only be back for the oil changes that I have already paid for. More
I took my car in for a estimate on damage from hitting a deer. Jason in service dept took care of me and I left, he was going to send info and pictures to my Insurance co and get back to me to set up a appo deer. Jason in service dept took care of me and I left, he was going to send info and pictures to my Insurance co and get back to me to set up a appointment once the parts were in. After a week of not hearing anything I called the Insurance co they hadn't heard anything from Kunes. The agent called several times and I called and left messages 6 times for Jason and for Alex the service manager. Nothing, they never called back so I took my business elsewhere. It was a much better Dealership when it was Allstar Buick! Ther terrible, no way to run a business! More
