I was looking for a used buick and went with my son to three dealers. Out of the three dealers John Pauls auto was the only dealer that seem to really care about my needs. The salesman Chuck Block was ver three dealers. Out of the three dealers John Pauls auto was the only dealer that seem to really care about my needs. The salesman Chuck Block was very nice and not trying the force an auto on me. He said he came from the old Bob Tolkan. So if you are looking for a low pressure salesman go see Chuck Block at John Pauls Auto. More
My boyfriends car totally broke down on me on 6 days ago, had it towed to John Pauls after recommendation. They fixed the problem saying it was a blown fuse, payed them 130.00$....same thing happened the ver had it towed to John Pauls after recommendation. They fixed the problem saying it was a blown fuse, payed them 130.00$....same thing happened the very next day. Had to get it towed AGAIN there. We only took it there again because we thought we might get some kind of deal since it was just there the day before and they obviously didnt fix the problem. BOY were we wrong. Lets just say 5 days later and $850.00 later (which $525.00 of it was for LABOR) we will NEVER EVER go there again. Also had the same problem where the guy would say he'll call back in an hour and 3 hours go by and no call. More
We used John Paul for oil changes and generally did not have any problems. Then the solder on the rear defroster came off several times last winter - last repair was to replace the entire rear window. Then have any problems. Then the solder on the rear defroster came off several times last winter - last repair was to replace the entire rear window. Then this winter when we started the rear defroster the solder failed again. I believe it was that the new coil was pulling on the solder and it came off again. They wrote on the bill that it was pulled on and pulled off the glass. We never even open the window and the coil does shows no signs of stress or damage. I would conclude that when the defroster was turned on the tight coil pulled on the solder and then it detached. Also - we asked for a new key FOB and the dealer said we could not get it at any other location. We did find replacement keys for 1/3 of the price. Plus, I asked that they not re-program the key because I knew it would only take 5 minutes to do. The service rep., Jeff, said it was already done (which he did not confirm) and charged us $35 for 5 minutes of work. I am very dissappointed in this entire transaction. We will be taking all our YUKON services and next purchases elsewhere. More
We've been customers of John Paul's for quite some time & plan on keeping it that way. The service and recognition they put forth is like no other dealership I've seen. It's the kind of relationship like y plan on keeping it that way. The service and recognition they put forth is like no other dealership I've seen. It's the kind of relationship like your hairdresser, you really become like family. They actually appreciate your business and aren't afraid to tell you and show you that. I've had small dents and buffing taken care of by Jim's dept with hope of bringing back business & I have with other body shop repair. Their work has always been completed above expectations, they do great body work. I have vehicle serviced there for everything even though I live 20 miles away & they extend thier gratitude by providing me a loaner (a new one just like one I had in for repair) and work with GM in a good will repair needed just outside of warranty. The service dept is always candid and simplify things for me, I even have my own service guy, your the best Steve B! Jay also as the service director has a plethora of experience & runs a great dept. And of course Woody, he makes magic happen by going to battle for you and is always fair and honest not to mention always in a fantastic mood. Thanks guys for never getting sick of me! More
I came in to trade my vehicle for a brand new 2008 Vibe. Well the dealership wasn't even willing to budge on the MSRP of a brand new vehicle. I understand that on average the dealership pays $1000 to $3000 Well the dealership wasn't even willing to budge on the MSRP of a brand new vehicle. I understand that on average the dealership pays $1000 to $3000 less on the MSRP... They were offering me $4300 for my 1999 Grand Prix which is about in line with KBB.com. Then I said one bottomline price that I wanted to have and he said I can't do that. He got the sales manager, (one of the ruddiest I don't care about your feelings person) he's not the friendly type. He was saying stuff like "Your lucky what your getting for your vehicle, when I looked at it, it was making some engine noises". I know thats not true, I take good care of my cars. All and all I just walked out and said call me if you can get in my price range. NOT A FLEXIBLE DEALERSHIP AT ALL, EVEN WITH GM EMPLOYEE PRICING IT WAS BAD! More
My wife and I recently purchased a used car from this dealership. It is a 2005 model with 3300 miles, and we noticed two dings in the door, one particuliarly large (about a quarter size) and negotiated f dealership. It is a 2005 model with 3300 miles, and we noticed two dings in the door, one particuliarly large (about a quarter size) and negotiated for them to remove the dings as part of the deal to purchase the car. It was thought that they could just pop them out. Unfortunately the larger ding they said would need major body work and paint work. In an effort "to satisfy us" they said they would pay 1/2 the cost for the repair work, which sounded reasonable. It floored us when the quoted $991.00 to remove the small dent. We decided that was extremely high and got a quote elsewhere which came in at $390.00. In other words they more than doubled their price because "they were going to pay half" ( in Wisconsin that is a crime), thinking we were gullible and would fall for there tactics. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau soon. Stay away from these dishonest and disreputable people!!!!! More
