This is the 2nd time in a month I brought the car in for a noise when I steer. It still is not 100% corrected, and I was told that the noise could possibly have been due to low steering fluid. I was told it's a normal noise for an XC60, but that doesn't sound right. I never heard it at the time when I picked up the car, but this week, I stood outside of my car with it running, and I did hear it. It is an 'off' noise, and it sounds like it's more towards the passenger side under the hood. More

I have been to too many different Volvo service centers and found that the place I originally bought my vehicle, a 2004 S60R, has been the most outstanding. I reside in Pennsylvania and I don't mind making the 70+ miles, 1.5 hours, just to get my car serviced by Mike Mazzaro and his excellent team. They've been able to pinpoint problems I've been finding while the other service centers would say that there was nothing they could find or it was normal operation of the vehicle, inferring that I don't know my own vehicle's performance or the noises it makes. The experiences were frustating as well as disappointing. I don't get that feeling servicing my vehicle Kundert Volvo Service Center and would recommend anyone who owns a Volvo to take it there. Service excels at this dealer and is the primary reason I chose to buy a new Volvo when I had to replace my old one rather than going to some other brand. I recently brought my volvo s40 into Kundert Volvo to have a service done. This was my first time going to this dealership and they were great to me. Scott was my service advisor and he was very knowledgeable. When I dropped my car off they had a shuttle that brought me to ihop for lunch, the shuttle driver was also extremely nice also. While I was there Scott would call to keep me up to date with what was going on with my car and to get approval to fix a few other minor issues they saw. When my car was finished they picked me up and I was able to meet the service manager, Mike. He was a pleasure to deal with. I recommend this dealership to everyone and I will definitely be returning for future work. More

Kundert Volvo (on R17) totally overcharges on the time it takes to do a job. I can understand their $125/hour labor, but they really gouge you on the job time. For example, I have a 2000 Volvo V70 AWD and takes to do a job. I can understand their $125/hour labor, but they really gouge you on the job time. For example, I have a 2000 Volvo V70 AWD and I went in to have the Upper Engine Mount (part cost $68 - which is okay). This part takes about 15-30 minutes for an experienced mechanic (no lift needed, no components to remove, only 5 bolts to remove the old part) and I was charged $217 for the Parts/Labor - or about $150 in LABOR. At $125/hour that's over an hour in they charged me in time - - - A TOTAL RIPOFF!!!! Here's an even better example for those that know the Volvo 850/V70 engines. They charge $350 to replace the gasket and O-ring to the Turbo Oil Return line. These 2 parts cost less than $10.00 at IPD and I've personally changed these on both Turbo and Non-Turbo 850/V70's (the leak eventually on all of them) in about 30-60 minutes (and that's just a heavy duty floor jack) - - - xxx do they charge 2.75 hours (or about $340 in LABOR) for this SAME JOB --- it should cost at best $125 (ONE hour's work)??????? xxxx RIPOFF ARTISTS!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND KUNDERT VOLVO TO ANYONE THAT CAN SPIN A WRENCH!!! More
