The receptionist on the phone gave me a next day 12:30pm appointment for a check engine light / runs rough and I was told a diagnostic check would be 1 hour. I asked if I would have to expect to wait since the appointment was during typical lunch time and I was assured it would not be a problem since the mechanics alternate their meal periods. She also took all my info including VIN number to place me into their system. I showed up promptly for the appointment and had to give the advisor all my info again because none of it was showing in their system. I told him I only need the diagnostics done and I would wait in the lounge. I also informed him that I would be unable to stay longer because I would have to leave by 2PM. I waited alone in the lounge for 1 hour and 45 minutes which now made the time 2:15PM. I then tracked down the advisor who was hanging out in a different part of the building with some other advisors and he told me that they are just about to bring my car into the garage now. It was already too late for me and they hadn't even had the courtesy to tell me this while I was waiting in the lounge. I drove an hour each way to this so called "appointment" so it waisted the better part of my day. More
