Brought our XC60 in for a 40,000 mile work—up. The waiting area was in the process of reflooring, and I was kindly warned that seating would be limited and it might be noisy. I was offered a ride to wait in a shopping area or restaurant, but declined. Can’t wait to see the spanking new room, but the accommodations were comfortable as they were. Made it through the newspaper and finished a novel in complete comfort, with staff checking periodically to make sure that remained the case. As for the main event, the car’s servicing was impeccable, and the car almost unrecognizable following a thorough wash and vacuum! More
