Honest and ethical service advisors Kundert Volvo Service department is not the closest Volvo dealership for me to travel to for service, but through the years Chip , Pete and Mark have Kundert Volvo Service department is not the closest Volvo dealership for me to travel to for service, but through the years Chip , Pete and Mark have earned my trust. They're ethical and honest and in return for that I prefer to give them my business. It's no more expensive than any other dealership, but I always get a detailed explanation and even showing me the part when they reccomend any work needed. Disappointed this time . I brought the car in because it was losing power steering fluid. The mechanic's report was that it was an engine oil leak. Only when I pressed Pet . I brought the car in because it was losing power steering fluid. The mechanic's report was that it was an engine oil leak. Only when I pressed Pete that the car was leaking PS fluid not oil he went back to the mechanic and yes the PS pump is leaking. Pete gave an estimate of $1,450 to only replace the pump, the cost of repairing the oil leak would be based on the hours it would take. I took the Car to a foreign car mechanic who replaced the pump, repaired the oil leak and, because the car has 91K miles and the top of the engine was already open, replaced the spark plugs for free. All for $1,600 I understand your predicament but for major repairs the difference in price is just too much. Lou More

The service advisors have been handling all the volvos I've leased from Kundert and the most recent 2012 XC 70 which I bought. I am totally comfortable with each of them, particularly Mike Mazzara, Chip Griffin and Pete Pesce. My most recent warranty service and additional mechanical concern was handled by Chip Griffin in an excellent manner, and was preceded by intelligent conversation for a non mechanical person such as myself. Chip is patient and communicates in a manner that always makes me feel like I'm in the right place with the right people. I have my car serviced far in excess of the printed warranty requirements and I can trust Chip to understand why I do it. Pete and Mike are also some of my favorite people. The thought of having to go somewhere else frightens me. More
