As soon as my fiance and I parked Carlos came out and helped us out. He was very nice and he realized that my fiance understood Spanish better and spoke to us in Spanish so that everything would be under helped us out. He was very nice and he realized that my fiance understood Spanish better and spoke to us in Spanish so that everything would be understood correctly. We told him we were interested in prices for a VW CC and he quickly had all the information ready. Took us out for a test drive. I personally liked that he wasn't pushy about making a sale and that he was able to answer all of our questions even those not about the car. He is very knowledgeable in VW history and you can tell he really enjoys selling them. He did everything correctly and didn't have us repeat anything or do things twice. We then met Eric a financial consultant and we were also very pleased with him. Very helpful in finding us the right deal that fit our budget. I was very appreciative that he understood how important budget was to us and he definitely got us the best deal on our new CC. The young lady that helped us was great. She sat with us after all the paperwork was done in the car to set up the blue tooth and explain any questions about the car and its technology, she even broke a nail trying to help us take the child lock off of a door. To sum up, everyone that helped us yesterday was great. I have no complaints and would not change anything about the service they provided and I definitely will refer friends and family to Kuhn VW. Came to this dealership to check out the VW brand. Needed help getting out of my trade. Sergio did an amazing job showing me the car and took his time to explain the different functions of the vehicle. Danny help getting out of my trade. Sergio did an amazing job showing me the car and took his time to explain the different functions of the vehicle. Danny and Chris put together some numbers and I was able to leave with a brand new 2013 Passat. Amazing experience non the less, if your looking for a new car this is the place to go. More
We had a great experience from the time we arrived at the dealership to the time we left. Christian Lube was honest and upfront about everything. We didn't feel like we were being forced into anything and th dealership to the time we left. Christian Lube was honest and upfront about everything. We didn't feel like we were being forced into anything and the financing process was actually the quickest we've ever had dealt with. It seemed to good to be true . We left the dealership with no regrets and we gained more than we lost with our situation. More
I wish I would have checked out their rating on the BBB. They represented a car in pristine condition and showed me photos that reflected a car in good condition. I was rushed into putting a deposit on the They represented a car in pristine condition and showed me photos that reflected a car in good condition. I was rushed into putting a deposit on the car, negotiated everyting on the phone and when I got there with cash in hand the car that I was told about was in horrible shape. It was covered in dings and scratches. It looked like many vehicles on their lot were dinged, scratched and keyed. When the salesman saw that I was unhappy he offered to upgrade me for an addition fee to another car (covered in scratches too) they offered to throw a car at me that had not even been certified yet and had a huge dent that I doubted can be fixed. No one was really willing to give me a quality car nor were they willing to do what was needed to bring the car that I came to buy up to par. The sales manager was rude, and did not seem interested in helping me find a car. More
Andrew Fish in Sales was an great individual to deal with. I give him high marks and would have no problem recommending someone to him and your dealership. I drove 3 1/2 hrs to Kuhn Volkswagen since they had the specific vehicle I was looking for in stock. I did not experience any high pressure/rude sales tactics during negotiations as you would typically expect during a car purchase. They even made arrangements to assist me in dropping off my rental car. At the end of the sale, I did a final check of the vehicle and found that that the TPMS service light came on on the dash. I pointed this out to Andrew and we deduced that it may have just been a problem with the tire pressure. However the service department was closed and could not check this out for us, so I added air to tire, the light went off, and I proceeded on my 3 1/2 hour trip back home. The TPMS light came back on again later that week, so I took it into my local dealer Vista Volkswagen. They checked it out and found that the TPMS was damaged, and indicated that unfortuanately it was not covered under warranty as it was not a factory defect or normal wear and tear. I paid for the repair/replacement of the TPMS at Vista VW and then notified Kuhn VW. Kuhn promptly sent me a check to reimburse me for the repair. Kuhn VW made this a truly great sales experience from start to finish and I will definitely return when I am ready for my next vehicle. More
Worse experience I have ever had buying a car. So bad that I told them to take back the car I wanted and I was GONE! TOTAL a** holes. And I'm so glad I did because I got a better deal and a waaayyy bette that I told them to take back the car I wanted and I was GONE! TOTAL a** holes. And I'm so glad I did because I got a better deal and a waaayyy better car somewhere else where we were actually treated with respect. I would never recommend Kuhn to anyone. HORRIBLE horrible horrible! Stay away from them! More
After negotiating the sale price I asked what other fees get tacked onto the final price. I was told tax, dealer fee and title. However, that was NOT all the fees that were added onto the final price. I get tacked onto the final price. I was told tax, dealer fee and title. However, that was NOT all the fees that were added onto the final price. I even questioned the extra fees and no one could answer exactly what the fees were nor would they remove them from the so called "deal". This was very disappointing and almost caused me to walk out. Retrospectively, I should have. once all the paperwork was completed in the finance office I was told it would be 10-15 minutes longer and to wait in the showroom. That 10-15 minutes turned into almost two ADDITIONAL hours. Another purchaser was even taken into the finance room during my "10-15 minute wait" and her deal took forever as well. I was and still am very disappointed at both the UNNECESSARY increased price and the time it took to take delivery. One would think that buying a new car from a dealership would be an exciting experience but for me, I was quite angry when I took delivery and drove off. I would not / should not have made the purchase at Kuhn VW. The "deal" was no better than I could have gotten elsewhere and the same car can be found at many dealerships. One bright spot in all this was Tony Climer who was an excellent salesman; grade = A. He was the only person who treated me fairly during the purchase/delivery experience. More
Anyone have a manager hang up on them? Will NEVER do business with VW. I value customer service over anything. Bad CS to begin with can only mean worse service to follow. Was having a good experience business with VW. I value customer service over anything. Bad CS to begin with can only mean worse service to follow. Was having a good experience looking for a new Passat Wagon at Kuhn VW. 2-weeks ago I went in and test drove one. I was very excited about the car but wanted it in different interior and exterior color. My sales man said no problem he would work on finding it. We made and appt for me to come back in 2-weeks on a Sat to see my "perfect" car. I received a call Fri from new person confirming the appt. I said yes, if they had my car ;) That's when it started going down hill because he described the car I test drove and didn't want. I asked about the car in the color I wanted and he said he'd call me back. No one called back. Sat morning I called the original sales man. He told me my car was in Jacksonville. I asked, "Why it was there?" I was expecting to buy it that day. (Hhmm why hadn't he called earlier to tell me it wasn't in instead of wasting my planned time on Sat?) He asked if he should have it brought in...uhm yeah if you want me to buy it? Right? Said he had to talk to his manager and would call back. He called back and said they needed me to say I was definitely going to buy the car and give a $500 deposit. Well, I don't know if I'm going to buy the car...I need to look at this new car and test drive it again. I'm conservative and not going to be bullied. No, I'm not going to give them $500 for them to bring in a car I'm thinking about buying. He said if it were up to him he'd bring in the car but his manager is requiring the deposit. I said have the manager call me. The manager called and was on the offensive right away. He explained that he didn't want 2 wagons on the lot and needed to know I was going to buy it. I tried to talk to him. Explain that I was the one pursuing the car and that should show my willingness to buy. I didn't want to go to another dealer since they are block away from me and the next closest is 40 min away. I was NOT giving them $500 of my $$ when they didn't know when the car would come in. Doesn't make sense. Then, tried to explain about the Sales man's promise to bring in "perfect" car no problem. He cut me off in mid-sentence and I stopped him and asked him not to cut me off. Manager said. "I don't have to deal with this" and HUNG UP! Haven't heard back from anyone at dealership. So it was not a mistake. Do NOT do business with Kuhn VW. They are rude and liars. I am going to tell all my friends and customers about this experience. NOTE: In process of writing to the owner. Also, I have now talked to others and found that sometimes they do ask for a deposit when they are "building" the perfect car. But it is something that can be waved. Hhm, I also had an offer from another dealership to bring the car to my house for me to look at (Orlando & I'm in Tampa). That's great CS! But I'm at the point now that VW has left a sour taste that I don't even want to think about it anymore. More
This dealer is all about making money. I really think that the tech reps must have some kind of incentives on how much money they can get from you. It is easy to perceive good honest service, I have n that the tech reps must have some kind of incentives on how much money they can get from you. It is easy to perceive good honest service, I have never had that feeling here in Kuhn. If your car is out of warranty look-out they will find several things wrong it. Also the people from VW Reeves are worthless (and this is why: I took my car there for a loud thump, they told me the reason was because I changed the springs on my suspension, so I took it to my mechanic and the problem was a flat spot on one of the tires. The only reason I took the car there is because it was under warranty) on the bright side though Reeves will wash your car and you won't get that at Kuhn. Do yourself a favor DO NOT take your car to Kuhn's. More
