Management cleaned up a customer service mess Ernie, the new service manager, was incredible however the same cannot be said for the service writer, Timothy. From the moment I arrived Timothy Ernie, the new service manager, was incredible however the same cannot be said for the service writer, Timothy. From the moment I arrived Timothy was short, accusatory, and unprofessional. I asked about simple call information and his response was “I am out of this 1000%, I don’t know what you’re talking about, or whatever”. (Ernie was able to provide a one sentence, professional answer on why the call record wasn’t viewable by Timothy’s screen.) I had to return to Kuhn, because a part that had been previously replaced, fell off a month later. When explaining the incident, Timothy persisted that I had been in an accident as that was the only way in which this would happen. I assured him that within the month after the repair, I had not had an additional accident. His response was “You’ll have to speak to the service manager. We don’t guarantee parts, so once we get it into the sky, we will know the full story.” I assured him that I was happy to do so. Thankfully, I was able to speak with the Service Manager, Ernie, and he provided the complete opposite treatment that I had received from Timothy. He gathered the information about the part, and the timeline. Ernie was friendly and professional. He confirmed that when the vehicle was inspected, there was no indication that I had ripped it off in an additional accident and replaced the part for free. Ernie seems to be a new addition to your team and I am thankful you have hired him. I am not sure that any other person would have been able to turn my view of Kuhn Service center around. I still have the service a 3/5 however if it weren’t for Ernie it would have absolutely been 1/5. More
