I had been thinking about buying a new car or truck for quite awhile but hadn't done any test drives or met with a salesman. Then, bringing one truck in for a repair, I walked over to look at new vehicles, quite awhile but hadn't done any test drives or met with a salesman. Then, bringing one truck in for a repair, I walked over to look at new vehicles, and that's where I met Henry Salazar. He listened, asked a few good questions, and then got the keys to a new RAV4 and we drove it. Then we took out a new Tacoma and I realized I wanted a new truck after all. Henry was great: well-informed and friendly, and also knew what I was looking for even as I figured it out myself. Instead of talking through the entire test drive, he let me work the stick through the gears and listen to the engine and pay attention to the ride. I've driven a truck for 20 years and know what I want in a manual transmission. A great test drive! And that's the very truck I bought, right off the lot. When we followed up, Henry had all the information I needed, and I got an excellent deal, including a great price on my trade-in Sienna. I'm very pleased with the outstanding service and thanks to Henry Salazar for getting me into a great 2012 Tacoma. More
I recently purchased a Tacoma from Bob Erwin at Koons of Westminster. Great sales experience, the gentleman drove the vehicle to my work location for my review and brought pertinent brochures to compare pa Westminster. He had the truck cleaned up at least twice in preparation for my test drive, though I had to cancel the initial test due to the October snow storm. Ended up buying the truck Halloween night and Koons had a full tank of gas, the tie-downs attached and a fresh coat of wax on the truck. Great job from the prep guys, George Thompson and Maryann McMorrow as well. More
I worked with Henry Salazar over the course of several weeks and ultimately bought a 2012 Toyota Highlander. I first went to Koons ONLY to test drive a Toyota Rav4. I made it clear to Henry that we were weeks and ultimately bought a 2012 Toyota Highlander. I first went to Koons ONLY to test drive a Toyota Rav4. I made it clear to Henry that we were at the very beginning of our buying process and did not plan to make a buying decision for a while. Henry was still very accommodating, arranged for me to test drive the Rav4 and answered numerous questions. About a month and a half past and Henry kept in touch via an occasional phone call and email. He was not pushy but kept lines of communication open in case we had any questions. Our timeline began to change and one day I walked into the Koons dealership unannounced and decided I wanted to take a look at the 2012 Toyota Highlander. Needless to say I went home that evening with a brand new 2012 Highlander. Henry and George were a pleasure to work with and handled the entire process with the utmost professionalism. We got a great price on a great vehicle along with a stress free buying experience. Our experience with Jeremy the Finance Mgr was also pleasant and stress free. Jeremy's friendly demeanor made the entire process seamless. We had a great buying experience at this dealership and will definitely go back to them for our next vehicle purchase! More
Buying a new vehicle can be less than a fun experience. I took my SUV to Koons Toyota for a service inquiry. While my problem was being diagnosed, I went to the car lot to ONLY look at new Tacomas. Nathan Voelkel approached and asked if he could answer questions I might have. He explained features I wasn't familiar with and talked to me about the sales incentives that were being offered. I liked his sales approach. He was personable and friendly without being "pushy". He showed me vehicles that perked my interest. I remind you, I was at Koons for a service call and NOT to buy a new truck. The next day I took my wife to Koons to look at the Tacoma trucks on the lot. She wasn't in favor of a new truck, but liked a red model and we took it for a test drive. She has tight reigns on the family budget and set a limit on the monthly payments. With the help of Nathan and several of the Koons staff, the new Tacoma is now in our driveway. When I review this experience, I recognize that Nathan's personable sales approach is what turned me from a 'looker' to a buyer - and an overall fun experience. More
I have been in customer service for more than 30 years so I know what good service is. The service at Koons of Westminister was not good it was absolutely FANTASTIC. I have never had a better experience anywhere "EVER"! I 100% will be a customer for life. George and his staff went out of their way to get me into a vechicle that I did not think I could get.I know a lot of people and I will recomend Koons of Westminister to anyone looking for a vehicle. If you are giving out awards for outstanding service this is the dealership that deserves it most. I live much closer to another dealeship but they are not even in the same ballpark as Koons of Westminister when it comes to customer service. As a matter of fact they pale in comparison. This is the second vehicle I have bought from the George and Bob duo. They are easy to work with and work very hard to make the deal a positive for both parties. I was sent to this dealership by my girlfriend who had purchased a car a year ago from the same place. Daniel was the first to approach me and was the lucky winner that day for my business. From the get go he made me feel very comfortable by answering all my questions. I did not feel the pressure from Daniel that I have felt from other salesmen. He did not try to talk me into anything and really put the decision in my hands. During the haggle phase which we all dread because of the constant walking away and "checking with the manager" I still did not feel pressure or harassed or really even annoyed. Daniel truly worked with my pricing options and got the trucks price lowered to what I was comfortable with and also worked to get the trade in value of my Honda. He even showed me the value of the 0% financing they offered by showing how much money I will save over 5 years by not paying any interest. All in all Daniel was a great salesman to work with. He is a patient no hassle no pressure kind of person and that makes buying a car almost a pleasure. With my great experience and my girlfriends I see no reason why I would try any other Toyota dealership again. More
