Nathan was my main contact by e-mail and subsequently by telephone. He responded promptly and efficiently with honest and accurate information. The original price quote seemed within reasonable limits for local market conditions but the initial trade-in was outside my expectations. Dan entered the negotiations at this point, remaining equally efficient and respectful. He was optimistic a second evaluation of my trade-in by the general manager could be fruitful in closing the gap. A meeting convenient to all was arranged within two days. The next estimate closed the gap considerably but was still around $925 below my intent. A final proposal essentially split the difference (slightly in my favor) with a bit of administrative magic. I ended with 75% of my trade target and everyone seemed satisfied. While Nathan got the new Tacoma prepped and shined Jeremy with equal congeniality and efficiency executed all the necessary payment and titling documentation. All in all, a rather pleasant experience worth the 45 minute drive. Should there be another Toyota on the horizon, Koons will be my starting point. More
This is my 4th vehicle from Koons. From the first visit, my husband and I have been always been treated well. Bob has always come through with the vehicle we wanted and made the process fun. He, and Jeremy, have always explained every step of the process (purchasing to financing), skipping nothing even though we've now purchased multiple vehicles from Koons. The service department is excellent. Todd gets me in and out very quickly and works around my schedule. Most of my dealings with the service department have been for scheduled maintenance, buy the (very) few times a vehicle has been in for more that maintenance, the problem is quickly identified and solved. I recently bought a Tacoma pickup at this dealership and was served in a most professional manner during all phases of the process. Nathan was my primary consultant and he did a masterful job. His interest in my needs, attention to detail, patient attitude, and product knowledge are just a few of his obvious attributes. He worked quickly and diligently in getting me the precise vehicle and features I desired. He also described other available options and comprehensively explained the overall choices available to me. He consistently provided follow-up phone calls to advise me of his progress in locating my vehicle of choice, and in just a few days, my vehicle was available at the dealership. Since I was new to the dealership, Nathan took the time to give me the grand tour of the entire complex including the Service and Parts Department, and in each area he introduced me to the Department Managers. All interactions with Nathan were on a strictly no pressure basis, a factor which was of significant importance to me. During my visits, Nathan also efficiently coordinated my meetings with others on the staff, namely Brad Groft and Wes Peterson. They, as well, performed their jobs expertly, and with an obvious desire to ensure Customer Satisfaction. I had purchased another toyota two years ago, and found service as well as staff to be courteous, friendly and helpful. I had no hesitation in returning for my next purchase of a Toyota Highlander. Wes service as well as staff to be courteous, friendly and helpful. I had no hesitation in returning for my next purchase of a Toyota Highlander. Wes Peterson was outstanding. From our first meeting, he was helpful patient and knew the vehicle inside and out. He was aware that I had received some information from a consumer reports price buying source and we worked within that framework with ease. Mostly, Wes was patient, returned my calls quickly and was there everytime we went in to check something out. He is a real asset to the dealership and is a very nice person and a pleasure to deal with. I can see Wes going far in this business and I hope Koons recognizes his dedication to the new car operation. I would definitely go back to Koons and will ask for Wes to manage my purchase. I only dealt with George Thompson during the final sale process as he reviewed and approved the offer, etc. I found him to be polite, knowledgeable and was willing to tolerate my "haggleing" for a few extra bucks. He took evry offer into consideration and I believe we arrived at a good deal for myself as well as the dealership. I did not deal with Samuel Somarriba personally but observed him at the dealership and at the customer appreciation talk afterwards. He is disciplined, cordial and certianly was aware of what was going on in that showroom. I assume Koon's hired him for his attention to detail and being available to resolve any problems that might arise with the business end of the sales progam. He was definitely there and "in charge". I wanted to mention Tod Eckard because of his willingness to help me on a time that they were ready to close the shop. I needed help with the pairing of my phone and even though he was ready to get off work, he cordially took the time to fix my problem and I truly appreciated that. I would have accepted a response that they were closed as I came in without prior notification etc.. He was very friendly and to stay over at closing time was noteable, and appreciated.. More

Hi. I went into the dealership just looking...still comparing various options. When I left the dealership I had a Tacoma pickup. I had some misgivings at first; such as, was I too hasty in making the deal? Should I have shopped further? etc! It has now been approx. 3 months since we closed the deal. I really enjoy the Tacoma, since I'm still employed, I haven't had a problem making the payments, and all my interactions with both Koon's and Toyota have been pleasant.
