My experience with Koons dealership was near perfect. I've bought 3 toyotas from Koons in Westminster since 2004 and each time it has gotten better. This time was the best. I had done my research but wasn't sure what trim in a Tacoma I wanted. Bob Erwin let me test drive the three I had narrowed it down too and when the one I wanted was way too pricey for my budget, told me about another option I had missed that got me what I wanted. I went home figured out what I wanted and what I was willing to pay and went back to see Bob. They didn't have the car I wanted but located one in another State and gave me a price below what I went in with. Deal as far as I'm concerned. Then I went to the finance department with Wesley. Now this is what I normally dread, the hard sell for add ons. First Wesley got me an interest rate competitive with my Credit Union. Then he showed me all the warranties. But there was no hard sell. I said no and he said OK. While I'm doing this, they send a driver to Pa and pick up my truck. I had it that night. Bob walked me through every thing on it and showed me how it worked. He even walked me through the service and operators manuals. Today when you buy a car they always have you sign a piece of paper that says they walked you through the manuals, but in most cases it just gets passed before your eyes with little discussion. Of course you are buying a new car and really don't care. But Bob was thorough and I appreciated that. I've not used them for service on my other Toyotas except in the beginning because I have a mechanic near by I really trust. But the toyotas now come with two year free OLFs. So I will see how that works. Purchasing a car can be painful, not only the cost but sometimes the hoops you seem to have to go through. My son and I waited 5 hours at another dealer when he bought his car. Nothing like that at Koons in Westminster. Great place to go. More

It was my first time coming to this dealership, and Malcome made me feel right at home. He was very knowledgeable of the vehicle, and answered all my questions. Bob Erwin from the very start was informative, was very knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all my questions. Had it not been for my own hesitation in purchasing at that exact moment I am sure I would have left the dealership with the Rav4 that day. I am pleased to say that Jason was also extremley helpful and made sure that I left with the warranties that I truley needed, I never felt like it was all a sales pitch, I truley felt that he had my best interest at heart. I have had struggles in the recent past and didnt know that it was going to be possible to purchase a new vehicle, Wendy, Bob and Jason never once made me feel like a less than perfect credit score customer. Since my purchase, Bob has continued to call me to see if I had any questions or concerns with the Rav4. This is my first Toyota, and so far I am very pleased with my choice. Matt was friendly and accommodating through the purchase, and after conferring with the used car manager, was able to bring the "Wow" price down to KBB (Good) Private Party (which is what you shoot for when buying a used car). After being a loyal Ford customer for 20 years, the local Ford dealership was unable to make the deal we were looking for by $1000. After researching Toyota, we decided to give Koons Toyota a try to see what Ford dealership was unable to make the deal we were looking for by $1000. After researching Toyota, we decided to give Koons Toyota a try to see what they could offer us. We did not know anything about Toyotas when we walked into the showroom. Rob was very helpful from the get go. He answered every question thoroughly and was eager to answer my questions and show me how Toyota compared to Ford. He showed us the Highlander and 4Runner as we were looking at the Ford Explorer. We ended up “sleeping” on the Toyota decision, but returned the next day to look at the Rav4 as a smaller option. We quickly decided that the 4Runner was what would best fit our family and needs and Rob got to work finding the 4Runner we wanted and working on our deal. We are very pleased that Koons was able to work with our trade-ins and give us a better deal than we were asking from the Ford dealership. Thank you Koons of Westminster and Rob for making the deal!
