After a nearly three hour car ride to Koons Westminster, I was totally satisfied with the overall experience. Chad Lammey, my salesperson, was personable, knowledgeable, professional and honest. Steve Breen, in the finance department was equally adept with his knowledge of the warranties and final costs associated with my purchase. Overall, it was my best car purchase ever. I've met some unethical car salesmen before, but the people at Koons take the cake! I was referred to their website in my car search. After speaking to Roberto in sales and Dimitri in finance, I gave them my information and filled out an online credit application. Dimitri did a great job getting me approved on the car with terms I found acceptable. Then the first red flag came up, he then pressed that I should come to the dealership right away to finish the sale. I explained to him that it was already well into evening, I live over 2 hrs away, and I also work at night. My intention was to go there on Saturday to pick up the vehicle, but he insisted that it be sooner. I gave in and told him that I will be there the very next day to get the car. The next day I just happened to text Roberto concerning my trade before heading down, and that's when he just texted back that they sold the car to someone else. Not even the basic decency or courtesy of a call to let me know to save myself the 2hr drive. I called the dealership at least expecting someone to explain what happened. I left voice messages but no one would even call me back. It is just the most disrespectful treatment I've ever experienced. These people cannot be trusted at their word. I tried calling the GM, Mr. Gurvich, as he appears to be open to genuine customer concerns as I've seen in the reviews. I was just directed to the used car sales manager who was simply unapologetic and kept repeating that the reason for the way I was treated, is because they are a first come type of dealership. Basically..."tough". So I guess buying online means you actually did not come first? I trusted these people with my personal information and took them at their word that we had a deal... then the first person that came after me got the car. What they did was so wrong. The used car sales manager even went as far to suggest that "we can't hold the car forever." So according to this snake oil salesman, overnight = forever? These people have fulfilled every negative car salesman stereotype, which is sad, because I know some good ones. But I know that even as they read this review they may be laughing it off, because they obviously have no sense of shame or recognition of karma or the golden rule. Buyer beware. More
Unfortunately, the Service Advisors receive financial incentives to upsell customers on additional service. Their hourly labor rates are extremely high and they add an additional 50 - 100% mark-up on th incentives to upsell customers on additional service. I recently started using an independent mechanic in my neighborhood (ProCare Auto in Reisterstown). They specialize in Toyota and Lexus vehicles and the mechanics are fully certified. I consistently pay 1/3 the cost for the exact same service with OEM parts. AVOID the Koons Toyota Westminster Service Department. Unscrupulous service advisors with questionable sales tactics. More

The attention to the details....understanding the product and getting the answers. We drove 2.5 hours to close this deal which we primarily did over the phone with Joanne. She had to get the exact car we wanted from another dealership and worked our trade in $$ for the best deal possible! I contacted 5 different toyota dealerships in 3 different states and Joanne just blew me away. No B.S....just said, let's see what I can do to make this deal happen before you travel all this way. Communication was superb! She always contacted me back, even when with other customers, just to text and say I'm with a customer but will return your call shortly. I would like to first thank everyone involved with the purchases of two vehicles for my husband and me,. I had a bad situation with the Customer Sevice at Heritage Toyota in Owings Mills Md. My last three purchases of two vehicles for my husband and me,. I had a bad situation with the Customer Sevice at Heritage Toyota in Owings Mills Md. My last three vehicles were Toyotas so that's the vehicle I wanted to stay with My first contact was with Ron Howard, manager. After I explained my situation about my having negative equity on my vehicle he assured me they would be able to help me. Ron Howard showed great leadership in forwarding me to two knowledgeable and caring people who knew their job. Joanne Virligio, Sales Agent, and Josh Finance Officer were excellent with great customer service. They made me feel at ease. My husband purchased a 2020 Toyota, Camry and I purchase a 2020 Toyota, Rav 4. I told Joanne exactly what I wanted and when I arrived she indeed had what I was looking for, with extra safety features. The whole transaction went smoothly. We both are truly satisfied. I commend both Joanne and Josh on excellence. More
Absolutely disgusting behavior from this a garage. Came to see a car, called the next day and agreed the price and arranged to come and sign for it on Monday. We were told not to come in till 1pm on the Mo to see a car, called the next day and agreed the price and arranged to come and sign for it on Monday. We were told not to come in till 1pm on the Monday as the salesman (Kyle) wasn't in till this time. My husband drove the 45 mins to the garage to sign, only to get there and be told there was someone else there that was just buying the car!!! Absolutely ridiculous. They didn't call or anything to let us know. We could have come in first thing, but was told to come in at 1pm. Instead we were left waiting and ended up wasting nearly 3 hours. Don't trust this garage. They don't care about their customers. More
