I had to use my car, gas and time to take him 30 minutes from my home and use my money to get him an urber back to your facility. I have called every day (5) since then and no one will return my call. The car has 3 large dents, a tire that does not hold air, no working radio, and rims that are tore up. ALL OF WHICH WERE NOT ADVERTISED!! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! Every time I call, someone answers the phone "hello". Is this your house or a xxxx business??? NO professionalism AT ALL!! More
Do NOT buy silver 2017 Toyota 86 VIN: JF1ZNAA14H9706438! They lied and said they would take it to arbitration. I got the price down to 18.5k I returned it, and it's back up for sale in the same condition with the same mileage and CPO offer. Buy this, and you could end up with a $2,500 fine for all the aftermarket illegal work done to the car. Sam, Warfa, and Jeff (used car manager) will lie their way out of anything. Edward is really cool, though, and facilitated my exchange. I repeat DO NOT BUY JF1ZNAA14H9706438 unless you want someone's used track toy packed with illegal equipment. More
Just, NO. Save your $ Terrible. Let me give some background. Late last year, I purchased a car from Koons (or rather my bank did, since I'm financing). Several things- Terrible. Let me give some background. Late last year, I purchased a car from Koons (or rather my bank did, since I'm financing). Several things- 1) Whenever I needed anything, it would be a HASSLE trying to find the right person to get the job DONE. They would make up excuses, and not find the correct answer to questions before attempting to pacify me, and send me off. I'm pretty sure no one actually communicates at this location (or any large dealership, really). 2) It took them 3 months to get the right documentation in order to give the title to my bank & have hard plates sent to me. When I asked about either of these, they would tell me it takes a while and wait. A while FINE, but 3 MONTHS? 3) They left me driving on expired temporary plates, because my hard plates were expected to come in later that week. This really isn't an excuse, because cops in VA really don't care. They WILL pull ya over, or tow ya. I call and directly ask for the GM. I'm told my plates will be sent out in the AM. Later that day (at around 6 pm) someone calls me and says "is this your right address?" Which is good and fine, but I was told the plates would be sent that MORNING, so I should already have my plates in hand. Well, I've got to wait another day, don't I? 4) I changed my name (marriage), and since I'm financing the car, DMV couldn't make the change for my registration. Koons was literally the only one who could. I call, and was told they ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT change my name on the vehicle registration, because they've already sent one out. A month later, what do I get in the mail? You guessed it, my updated registration. It's almost like you HAVE to update important documents like that, Koons. I'm assuming everyone else had positive experiences with this dealership because they are 1) purchasing an expensive car and 2) financing with them. I did neither, so I wasn't a priority, and they showed that. More
Would never recommend this place. -Lease payments and Would never recommend this place. -Lease payments and interest rates offered by dealership were ridiculous so I decided to go with my own financing Would never recommend this place. -Lease payments and interest rates offered by dealership were ridiculous so I decided to go with my own financing which cut my interest rate in half. -Scheduled an appointment to purchase the car 4 days after it got to the lot. It had damage to the bumper, preowned certification wasn't complete, and car wasn't cleaned. -Took 5 hours to purchase the car. Dealership printer for paper tags wouldn't work so I had to go back the next day after being there until 11:30 pm. -Finance guy continued to ignore my personal financing and tried to lock me in at a rate of 6.99% (which is even higher than what they originally told me). Literally had to yell at him for it to finally get changed. -Finance guy used my info without my knowledge to pull additional credit reports for himself (dealership still refuses to correct this) -Took car back a week later for them to detail it and fix the bumper. They can't do bodywork when it rains so the car stayed there for almost a week even though it was raining when I dropped it off and the weather forecast made it clear it was going to keep raining. Car was still not detailed. -Found out that they never completed an emissions test on the car so it was not able to be registered without taking it back for them to complete one. Service people were super rude when I reported this and did not want to pull up the car's record until a manager was present -Forced to call auto insurance at the service window to confirm my deductible before I could get a loaner car. -They removed an accessory when fixing the bumper and thought it was okay not to replace it. Had to take it back again for them to replace it and get it detailed (since it wasn't done the first two times it was requested) -Could still see dirt on the steering wheel after their third detailing attempt. Used store-bought leather cleaner and it came right off. (don't waste your money on their detailing services) If you don't know what to ask or what to look out for, they will definitely try to take advantage of that. More
Predatory Lending - Beware Underrepresented Communities The simplest definition of predatory lending is financing that imposes high interest rates or overly restrictive loan condition. This is exactly what The simplest definition of predatory lending is financing that imposes high interest rates or overly restrictive loan condition. This is exactly what Koons Toyota Vienna & their finance department thrives on, i.e. attempting to pass on a 13.5% Interest rate to someone with a fair credit. Additionally, as a predator lender, Koons tries to get as much money upfront as they can because their payment terms are so difficult to manage, they know it probably won’t be long before the car payments can't be made and the car is repossessed. Lastly, 'conscious' bias was evident in Luis Castillo & Kay from Finance - where two "high school" graduates are pontificating on Virginia laws & "educating" working professionals about credit worthiness. The net net - AVOID AT ALL COST, especially if you're an IMMIGRANT, a group they prey on. More
21-Yr Multi-Car Customer Having HORRIBLE Service Experience Just bought my 8th car from Koons Tysons at the end of November 2019. All great car salespeople and great convenient service when needed over 21 year Just bought my 8th car from Koons Tysons at the end of November 2019. All great car salespeople and great convenient service when needed over 21 years. Now, I brought my new Highlander in three weeks ago. The radio went out completely. When I was called to the desk thinking I would get checked out and the car fixed, Brian said they could NOT fix the radio. They tried everything they knew and now they would have to "contact Toyota to see what they wanted to do." I asked what what does that mean? He said he didn't know, just that he'd have to contact Toyota. This was Saturday and he said they were closed and he'd have to call them on Monday. He said they had one other situation like mine and all he could say was, these units are on back order. He was short with his responses and offered nothing helpful. He was getting short with me. I was rather shocked. I waited for two weeks. Nothing. I called him on the following Tuesday. He apologized and said he would 'get his technician to contact Toyota'???? and would get right back with me. Nothing. A week later, I called and left a message for Customer Relations. Nothing. Here it is week four, I called and they gave me the "Service Bay Manager" yesterday morning. He said he would call me back within a half-hour. Almost 24 hours and here I am waiting. I don't know what is happening, but this is bizarre treatment from a company I have praised and recommended to many others who have bought from them for the quality and past service is a complete disappointment. I will update this review depending upon how this situation is handled. More

I Don’t recommend this dealership for service - rude customer service in the service section Was late for my appointment and the front desk person that should be taking care of my service was - rude customer service in the service section Was late for my appointment and the front desk person that should be taking care of my service wasn’t at his desk and after waiting for him, he just said no can’t take your car and asked me to leave and didn’t offer a solution and I was willing to even stay longer than normal While leaving I checked online I found available appointments for the current time and the next 2 hrs to book - so booked a new appointment and went back to the same service person said it’s an issue with the system!! I asked to speak to the service manager he said he is not here today - worst customer service ever!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! Bought my Car on Nov. 10th, test drove it and everything was perfect. They took it around back to fill it up with gas while I signed my paper work. I Bought my Car on Nov. 10th, test drove it and everything was perfect. They took it around back to fill it up with gas while I signed my paper work. I drove it off the parking lot and the tire pressure light came on as well as a digital read saying "Check fuel cap" then the check engine light came on soon after the message disappeared. I turned around, came back, they quickly did something to reset everything and said that the gas cap needs to be tightened only one click. Or the alert will happened. A week later I fill it up with gas and the same thing happens with both the tire pressure light and gas cap/check engine. I get it serviced 10 days later, in and out. They just reset it. The tire pressure light was never an issue again. So I was grateful for that and happy with my new ride. The very next time I gas up though, cap alert/check engine light again pops up. I call up and they say to never make it gas cap click, just tighten it & that the alert will go away. I told them I was leaving out of state for thanksgiving and if it doesn't fix itself could I come back the 1st week in December and they said yes No Problem. This time, I waited about 4 hours before I walked up to see how my car was doing. I come to learn that my service guy left for a family emergency and nobody contacted me as I just waited, well they flustered around and cause nobody had been working on my car... said they would get it fixed ASAP I told them it might be a censor issue but ... within 15 mins. It was done. Guess it was just a reset. I was working from home most of December so I drove less frequently ... but as soon as i filled up, AGAIN! Check engine light. I come in for service they tell me it will take at least a day to find out what's wrong, I said I had a meeting I had to be at. They offered a free rental car service... but I had just changed my car insurance to full cover and it didn't kick in until the next day. But I was again leaving for the holidays out of state driving and wouldn't be able to come back til the 2nd week of January. I took my car back still broken & I was assured that the next time I bring it in, I'll be taken care of & to come early in the morning to leave it all day. Guess what? Today is Jan 14th and I bring it in at 9am and it's a different guy and I have to re-explain everything from the start. He tells me I don't have coverage for this. That it's past the new sale warranty. I ask to leave it and get a rental and they say they can give me a discount. What?! I said I'll just wait then as work is 40 mins away and they said it will be a couple hours. They sent me over to Honda to find a guy named Stephen. I went and they had NO CLUE what I was talking about. Said I have no extended warranty. I'll have to pay now to get it fixed. Thanks a lot DAVID!!! I'm so upset that I got suckered into this. They kept pushing me off and purposely didn't document every time I called. Now I'm stuck with a busted car that I'll have to fix out of pocket and it's only been 2 months since Ive purchase it. I will never do business with them again. I had thought about returning it right after it had happens on day one... They made it seem like it was no biggie and that rest assured it would be fixed with no cost to me at all. It's cost me 3 days of missed work and as a contractor I won't get paid for & now I gotta fix it. Absolutely inexcusable. More

In order to facili During my car purchase with Koons Tysons Toyota, I found there exist serious fraudulent conducts in this company’s selling process. In order to facilitate the deal with me, the salesman promised an out-the-door price. After repeated confirmations, I had been persuaded that the price was all I needed to have that car and they also promised to register the car for me and get me the tag and title. However, this place neither registered the car nor pay the sales tax without any notification. I found out that they did not fulfill their responsibilities. I had to pay the extra money and do the registration work all by myself when my temporary license would soon expire. Till now, Koons Tysons Toyota refused to send back the extra money and they did nor give any explanation on this. I think this is purely a consumer fraud that needs to be punished. They should keep their promise and compensate for my loss. More
