I'm from NJ and had been in the market for a minivan for my family. I had looked at multiple dealerships in my area and all could not compete with the competitive rates nor professionalism with Koons. Where my family. I had looked at multiple dealerships in my area and all could not compete with the competitive rates nor professionalism with Koons. Where others refuse to do business over the phone, Koons was able to work with me given my situation. When I got there, everything was prepared and made the transaction so easy. In addition, when I inspected the car I found a minor small scratch which the sales rep, Julian insisted on taking care of while I finished the paperwork. In total I probably spent a little bit over an hour at the dealership. By far this has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. I highly recommend! More

Alex was great to work with, he was not pushy and allowed me time to make decisions. The only negative was their dealership fee. Its extensive and they are not willing to budge. Overall, they were friendly a me time to make decisions. The only negative was their dealership fee. Its extensive and they are not willing to budge. Overall, they were friendly and provided good customer service and good experience. The other staff including the business staff and the insurance staff were helpful. I appreciated them giving me information at face value and did not try and push sales. They let the information speak for itself. Overall, very good experience. would be 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the dealer fee being so steep and ridged. More
Jason the sales person was great. I traveled about 300 miles to get my vehicle from Koons . We had made the deal over the phone and their was no surprises when I got to the dealership other than a relaxed miles to get my vehicle from Koons . We had made the deal over the phone and their was no surprises when I got to the dealership other than a relaxed purchase for the price and vehicle I wanted. More

BUYER BEWARE- SCAMMERS AND UNSAVORY BUSINESS PRACTICES. I thought that the days of fast-talking, and unethical car-sales practices were a thing of the past, but these are the common-place practices at Koons thought that the days of fast-talking, and unethical car-sales practices were a thing of the past, but these are the common-place practices at Koons Jeep and they make no apology. At Koons Jeep, they double-sell cars, take and hold deposits on cars already sold, as well as bait and switch vihicles. I went into Koons with the intention of buying a specific car my sales-man was Leo. Because I came in the evening (Wednesday), the finance person was only able to run my application by one bank and told me that they were unable to run my financing by many banks because they were closed and would have to do it in the morning. I did not hear back from him despite placing multiple calls to ask for the different interest payments and monthly rates. Leo texted me to check on status and I made it clear that I was waiting to hear back on other interest rates/payments, he made no follow-up trying to find out the other rates. Because I was very interested in the car I followed up multiple times asking for these rates, but received no contact back. Due to work conflicts I was unable to make an in-person visit until Sunday. I called Leo to tell him I was on my way, but was a little surprised when he discouraged me from coming and recommended I come on Monday. I explained that I could not wait or come in on Monday due to my work schedule and came in on Sunday. I had not driven the car, so I requested a test-drive. When went back into the office, I again asked about financing with other banks. At that time, I received another offer a 2% lower (I am not sure how it is possible to do this in the evening on a Sunday, but not in the evening on a Wednesday). However, with this one step completed, I was ready to move forward. I paid $3,000 down on my debit card and was asked to present the other $2,000 down in a check. I did not have my check-book on me as I was never told that a maximum on only $3,000 could be put on a card and I was asked for proof of residence. I signed and received a sale receipt, but because they were closing, I would complete paperwork and pick-up my Jeep on Monday after work. I was assured by Leo that car would be ready for pick-up the following day and he showed me how the only key was taken off of the key-bar and would be placed with the manager until pick-up. This demonstrated low motivation and lack-of professionalism with you doing more work to buy a car than the sales person, but it was a means to an end. When I got home, I received a call from an un-named individual who only identified himself as "the manager." He stated that my car had been sold that morning and they were awaiting verification of a check, which they could not do on a Sunday. I do not understand how a vehicle can be sold twice and how unverified funds take precedent over verified funds, but this whole thing sounded fishy. The manager said that he would speak with the auction manager to get me the same car- enter the bait and switch. The next day, I called Leo multiple times to try to understand what happened and why I paid for a service that was now completely up in the air. He did not return any of my calls, but did pick-up after several call attempts. When I spoke with him, he was aggressive and blamed me, "you couldn't make up your mind." When I reminded him that the delay was because of financing and my mind was very clear from the very beginning he gruffly just responded, "we will get you a car when we find one, but you ask for too much" (because I want a certain car color and interior). At the end of the day, I am disturbed that there seems to be no accountability for double selling the car, that I am being pushed towards an unknown car that was not the car I wanted and not the car I "purchased", my money is in "limbo land" with claims of a refund, and blaming the bank for a delay in receiving my refund (maybe don't take money if you can't provide a service). I am surprised by how unethical and abrasive this entire process has been and WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KOONS. More
