My specific and key questions were answered, and upon arrival at the Dealership, were fulfilled (unlike Sheehy and FOX, where they said one thing to get me into the paperwork process, only to re-neg at the end in hopes of picking my pocket) a veteran (at my request) agent (Earl) was assigned to me, and with a minimum of delay and diversion got my questions answered and met all of my needs and so we began the purchase process. the support personnel, Managment and Finance, fulfilled their parts with dispatch and in a transparent manner. though this is the first purchase at KOON's CHEVROLET, in the past we have bought twice new at Koon's Lincoln-Mercury in Owings Mills/Randallstown and 3 new vehicles from Koon's Ford College Park thank you Ventura More

I had been shopping the area for a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. I had been in contact with several dealers but no one seemed real interested in listening to what I was looking for. I requested an on-line quote via the Kelly Blue Book and received responses from two dealers. Two other dealers failed to even respond. One of the responses was from Mitch Buster at Koons. Mr. Buster emailed and called which was nice and he took down the specifications of the truck I was looking for. Several days later, I met with Mitch at the dealership. He showed me several trucks already on their lot. They were equipped a little heavy for my liking but I got the distinct impression that he was willing to either work to find my specific vehicle or.....negotiate with me on one of the existing vehicles. I never felt pressured that it was going to have to be one of the trucks on the lot or nothing..even though it was nearing the end of the model year. Mitch remained positive that he would be able to find the truck I was looking for. Mitch searched other dealerships in the area and....found the EXACT vehicle I was looking for...down to the color and equipment. The vehicle was actually several hours away in a neighboring state. Over the next few days, Mitch (on his day off) drove to the other dealership to retrieve my truck. I ended up purchasing the truck from Mitch and Koons. I believe I received a fare price for the truck..comparable to the market research I had done. The only hiccup I really felt in the deal was some discrepency in the value of my trades compared to what I was lead to believe the were worth early in the deal. While the discrpency was still there, it was not big enough for me to not purchase the vehicle. Mitch's customer service strongly over shadowed our differences regarding the value of my trades. I would recommend Mitch to anyone looking for a new vehicle. There was no pressure to buy and he worked hard to find the vehicle matching my specifications. More
I was in the market for a new car, and was looking at all I was in the market for a new car, and was looking at all the major brands for a muscle car, ford / dodge / chevy. Found that in the Northern VA ar I was in the market for a new car, and was looking at all the major brands for a muscle car, ford / dodge / chevy. Found that in the Northern VA area, several dealers weren't open on sundays, and those that were told me that they had nothing for me to look at or test drive. Despite it being a little after 5 pm, we decided to drive out to Tysons Corner and see what Koons had in stock. I didn't expect there would be many people out & about, since it was late and most of the dealerships seemed to be closed or closing. We pulled up, starting walking towards the lot, and Dave Sawyer came out & introduced himself to us. I told him what I was looking for, he took us directly to the camaros, despite it being just a few minutes before closing time. I never felt rushed. It seemed he wanted to make sure I got the car I wanted, not (as some salespeople do) the car they want me to buy. It was too late to take a test drive that day (plus it was raining) so I wanted to come back the next day, he told me to just call ahead & he'd have one ready for me. I did come back the next day, test drove it, and decided the camaro was the one for me. I ordered the car, and unlike some dealers that could only tell me "we can order it, but we don't know when we'll get it"...Dave gave me a rough estimate, and then was able to shorten that already small window. He helped me every step of the way, what options was I looking for, what did I like, things of that nature. Once the car was ordered, I got updates fairly frequently from him, letting me know the status of the build. GM had some delays, and the car was held up from being delivered, but again, Dave was on the ball and gave me the notice earlier than later, so it wasn't a surprise. What WAS a surprise was that I'd expected the car to be several weeks past the original 7 to 8 week window, and the car actually arrived at the 6 week mark. Dave had known I was going out of town, and had made plans to store the car for me, to ensure no one else would sit in it / drive it / etc, as he seemed to understand this was my dream car. When I got in to the dealership to purchase it, it was hands down the best experience I've had buying a car. Dave had the car parked far away from any other cars, to ensure no one parked near it, or really even went near it. Everything was set up before I got there, so it was fairly short work on the day of delivery. Once I had to go in to deal with the financing (which seems to always be a bear of a time in car dealerships) Kelli was a delight to work with. She had the financing taken care of in short order and explained everything I had questions about, from how the financing worked to the extended warranty / tire protection / maintenance options. Before I realized it I was done and Dave was showing me the nuances of the car. I think the total time spent in the dealership was around 2 hours. Unheard of (by me) for buying a new car. I think I spent as much time telling people about my new car as I did telling them how impressed I was with Koons. When the time comes for another new car, my first stop will be back at Koons Tysons Corner. More
The customer service was excellent. Earl and bruce were very personable and helpful with getting me in the car that I wanted. The bottom line, when I left Koons Tysons GMC, I was happy with my purchase and did not feel swindled, even though my monthly payments are greater than I had originally wanted. And that speaks volumes for a sales person. I did not feel like they were just selling me a car to get it off the lot, but rather because they legitimately wanted me to own it. Great Job! More
The salesman knew the cars very, very well and worked very hard to get me the exact car I wanted. I am beyond impressed! As long as Earl is working at the dealership, I will always use him as my salesman and I will refer everyone I can to him. I found out about Koons Auto through using USAA's Car Buying Service. When I arrived at the dealership for the test drive, he had the car detailed and ready to go. The whole process of settling on a price to getting the keys in my hand was much less painful than I thought it would be. The first Malibu I bought was a great car but later came to find out that it did not have the bluetooth system installed like Sean thought. Sean immediately corrected the situation by talking to his manager and was able to let me come in and switch out my Malibu with a Malibu that had the bluetooth system in it. What's great is that even after the dealership had my money for the first car, they still were adamant about making sure I was happy with my purchase, when they knew I was dissapointed about the bluetooth, they immediately found a way to make it up to me. This shows professionalism and that Koons actually cares about it's customers, even after they have the customers money. It's hard to find that in todays world so kudos to everyone on the staff at Koons, job well done. More

The whole process was very easy and we didn't feel pressured or feel like we were being taken advantage of at all. We actually ended up leaving the dealership with TWO NEW CARS! I would certainly highly recommend going to talk to Sean if you want an easy and no pressure car buying experience. More
