Overall best experience. Treated with respect, no BS, great pricing, great financing – GREAT EXEPRIENCE EVERY TIME! I have purchased several cars (30+) from Koons dealerships and I will not go anywhere e great pricing, great financing – GREAT EXEPRIENCE EVERY TIME! I have purchased several cars (30+) from Koons dealerships and I will not go anywhere else. The Best Dealerships are; Koons Ford in Sterling, Koons Chevrolet in Tyson’s and Koons Chrysler in Tyson’s. I rate these three as NUMBER 1 I have purchased most of the vehicles from this location. They really are great people here - trustworthy and they treat you with respect! I love these guys! More
I have been buying cars at Koons Sterling Ford since 1994. That also means I have been having my trucks and cars serviced at Koons for the same amount of time. I have found the best place in Northern Vi 1994. That also means I have been having my trucks and cars serviced at Koons for the same amount of time. I have found the best place in Northern Virginia to have any service done on any of my vehicles. I have become quite familiar with the staff and have complete trust in their diagnosis when I have an issue. When they say I have an issue, I never doubt their word and they fix the problem immediately. If you are looking for a service department that you can take your vehicle for repairs, and know it will be completed correctly the first time, I highly recommend Koons Sterling Ford in Sterling Virginia! After an extremely dismal and unbelievably frustrating experience with another Northern VA Ford dealer, I turned to Brian D'Amico at Koons Sterling Ford. The difference between working with Mr. D'Amico w experience with another Northern VA Ford dealer, I turned to Brian D'Amico at Koons Sterling Ford. The difference between working with Mr. D'Amico was like night and day. Brian worked hard to try to locate a new vehicle for me and helped me identify options and the dealer invoice prices. He kept me fully informed after we special ordered a fully loaded 2011 F150 Raptor. He and all of his staff were exceptionally professional, pleasant, and very easy to deal with in locating and then special ordering the perfect truck for me at an incredibly low price, subsequently handling my trade in for very fair value, and financing through Ford to get the very best rates available. There was a miniscule flaw in the new Raptor ( small mar in leather of rear seat), but Brian pointed this out to me on his own, and took care of it right away. Kudos to Mr. D'Amico and his entire team at Koons for a job well done and a very satisfied customer. The new Raptor price and trade in on my Expedition were excellent for me. There was never any pressure, or the usual unsavory tactics that seem to be the norm at other dealerships. I have purchased dozens of vehicles and have never experienced any transaction nearly on par with the folks at Koons Sterling. I highly recommend that you contact Brian D'Amico and would be shocked if you have any bad experience there. More
Car was due for the 75,000 service. Koons is always able to accommodate my car on the weekend for the standard services. This Saturday was no exception. I had an appointment which is always helpful on the to accommodate my car on the weekend for the standard services. This Saturday was no exception. I had an appointment which is always helpful on the weekend and told them when I had to leave for another obligation. Without fail, my car was completed in a timely manner and for a reasonable cost. I happened to be in the service section when Buck, the tech who took car of my car, came into the service department. I asked him if everything was ok with the car and if there was anything to be concerned about. He told me everything was fine and the car is in great shape. That I had nothing to worry about. It was a relief and helpful that I was able to ask Buck directly. Joey Stickman was also responsible for the servicing on Saturday and between the two of them, I was in and out without a problem. It was great. I was able to stay on schedule for the rest of the day because they listened to my request to be completed by a certain time. Buck was very helpful and he was great about answering my questions. It isn't the first time he has serviced the car and that is because of the trust Koons has in him and the quality of service he provides. More
After a very horrible sales experience with another local dealership I met John Bolling and he took care of me immediately even helping to resolve issues (both mechanical and finance-wise) from the other dea dealership I met John Bolling and he took care of me immediately even helping to resolve issues (both mechanical and finance-wise) from the other dealership. John returned my call within an hour and was there to greet me and explain what was happening with my vehicle in laymens terms. John gave me his cell phone number so that if the car got stuck again that I had someone to help me immediately. I've even called his cell while he was on vacation 3000 miles away and he STILL returned my call immediately and was able to give advice and recommendations regarding the car trouble. When John left the dealership that was within 5 minutes of my home I followed him and now take my car more than an hour away just to work with John, someone I trust and who makes car troubles less nerve racking. John is an invaluable asset to me and I'm positive to any dealership he works with! More
After being a customer with Koons Sterling Ford since 2002, there is little I can say bad about the dealership. But what makes me return each and every time is the Service Department. My Service Manage 2002, there is little I can say bad about the dealership. But what makes me return each and every time is the Service Department. My Service Manager has been Joey Stickman for several years now. He has taken care of my current two vehicles and past vehicles without issue. I recommend him and the entire Koons family to every one I know. Not only are my cars serviced by Koons and managed by Joey, my father is willing to drive his Ford down from Massachusetts for all major services. He trusts Joey and knows he will only suggest what needs to be done. He clearly explains why a repair is necessary and works with you when it is a large repair. I can say nothing bad about Joey which is why I have trusted him with two Tauras, one Fusion and now a Mustang. He is the best in the Service Department and I hope as long as I own a Ford, he will be there to help. More
I was shopping for a used Ford Fusion in November 2010. I was already approved for the car loan through my credit union. I found a Fusion that looked perfect for me at Koons Ford in Sterling. It had ever I was already approved for the car loan through my credit union. I found a Fusion that looked perfect for me at Koons Ford in Sterling. It had everything I wanted and more and the price was within my budget. I wanted my mechanic to look at it before I bought it and Sterling Ford allowed me to take the car for a pre-purchase inspection. The car was in pretty good condition but had a few things that needed to be fixed (mostly minor stuff - two tires, brake pads would need to be replaced soon, etc.) The car did appear to have been in an accident even though there was no record of an accident on the carfax report. The inspection cost ME about $80. I took the car back to the dealership and told the salesman I was interested in buying it but either needed some of the stuff to be fixed OR have some money taken off the purchase price and I would get the repairs done myself. He said he had to check with the used car manager who had already left for the day, but he made a copy paper the garage gave me listing what needed to be done and said he would get back to me. I waited two days without hearing from him and on the third day I called him. That's when I found out that an employee of the dealership bought the car I had already spent money on!!! The salesman said he didn't think I was serious about buying the car. Really?! I had a loan approved AND spent money to have that exact car inspected and he didn't think I was serious?!! I imagine the co-worker who bought it was a friend of his. And I imagine the employee probably helped himself to the copy of list of needed repairs I had paid for. I was so pissed! I called to talk to the general manager of the dealership (I think his name was Steve Brown) but was only given his voicemail. I left a message describing what had happened, asked to be reimbursed for the inspection, and asked that he call me back. I received no call and a couple days later called him again, was given his voicemail again, and left a second message saying mostly the same stuff and again asking that he call me back. Seven months later I still haven't received a call. Worst customer service EVER!!! I will never shop at ANY Koons dealership again!!! I ended up buying a car from the Ford dealer in Leesburg and that was a very pleasant experience. The Ford in Leesburg has excellent customer service and actually appreciates your business. More

Was looking to purchase a new Ford Escape Hybrid, which is a difficult vehicle to come by these days. I live and work in North Carolina, but my family lives in Northern Virginia. So after looking on the is a difficult vehicle to come by these days. I live and work in North Carolina, but my family lives in Northern Virginia. So after looking on the internet, I found Koons Ford had these hybrids in stock. My sister and father went there to look at the Escape Hybrid and there they met a very nice salesman named Eman Keshani. He spent a lot of time with my family and told them whatever they wanted to know about the vehicle. So the following week when I went up, my sister recommended I visit Koons Ford and work specifically with Eman. So I went up there with her and met Eman. Eman is friendly, very considerate, and ethical. Even when there were other buyers wanting to buy the Escape Hybrid from him, Eman kept his appointment with me so I could at least look at it. That meant a lot to me. (another Ford dealership in North Carolina sold their Hybrid before I got there for my appointment, even though I told them I was a serious buyer!) During the actual process of negotiating the price I found Eman to be very professional. He took a lot of time to explain to me why the vehicle was priced the way it was, how much I should expect for my trade in, and so forth. Eman made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. So I ended up buying the car. After I met with financing and signed the papers, Eman then took the time to set up the Sync system with my phone showed me how the whole system worked. I would definitely recommend Koons Ford in Sterling and especially working with Eman Keshani. He is intelligent, professional, and courteous. More
