I was looking for a specific car, and they ended up having one on their lot because they have such a great selection. Koons has a system of Ford dealerships, so they can pull from stock from other lot having one on their lot because they have such a great selection. Koons has a system of Ford dealerships, so they can pull from stock from other lots if you're looking for something specific, as well. I did quite a bit of price checking before my purchase. I found Koons to be very competitive with other dealers' pricing. They were quick to give me the competitive price I agreed on, and the deal went smoothly after that. Ricky even worked with me to save money through my employer discounts. The staff was even willing to stay late to finish off the deal with my car. I was very pleased with my experience with Koons Sterling. More
Avoid this place at all cost. The service department staff is rude and condescending, and the mechanics do an extremely lazy job of diagnostics, assuming that they actually care what the issue is. Attempted to contact Ford, and the service manager lied and said he already talked with me. I contacted him twice and he refused to return any messages. I will NEVER bring my car back there. More
Was looking to increase the space in the car. Shane Sooner took care of me. He was able to answer any question I had. Got me a great deal on my trade and new car. Will defiantly hit Shane up the next time I am in the market for a car. More

I can't praise Ricky Rivera highly enough nor Koons low enough. I bought the car through the internet and two very nice men delivered the car 100 miles to my home on December 21, 2012. Ever since then I have been trying to get the bill of sale, a key, plates and other paper work. The key arrived yesterday and the plates today. Mr. Rivera has been very helpful but he doesn't seem to be able to get Koons to do the necessary paperwork to complete the sale. I was willing to drive the 100 miles to Sterling if they would give me $500 for my car, which had a dealer book value of about $700. Instead they sent two men in two cars to deliver my car and then drove back to Sterling in the other car. Looked at it this way, they weren't even willing to give me $300 for the trade in. More
First time at this dealership. I went because it was closer to where I was at the time. It got great reviews online. Looking back... those were probably fake. I went in for a routine oil change, closer to where I was at the time. It got great reviews online. Looking back... those were probably fake. I went in for a routine oil change, I was told I had to replace my rear suspension because it was "leaking" and that would be around $600. I was also told that I had to do something called "induction" that came out to $160. I decided on the "induction", because, based on the employee's explanation, it was necessary for the performance of the engine. Fast forward 5000 miles, I went to the FORD dealership I had been going to for all previous service related issues. Routine oil change and I had them check the suspension. Nothing was leaking! Even if I had to replace my rear suspension, that would only cost $271 - WITH LABOR. It got me thinking that Koons Ford Sterling got me. I will never go back. They will rip you off. They will lie to you. Advice to anyone reading this, go to another dealership. These people would intentionally forget a screw, so your car breaks and you'll be forced to have them look at it. More

We received outstanding professional support from Jonathan Chinn of Koons Sterling Ford. We found the New Ford Fusion Hybrid we wanted listed on their website, it was listed at a price that worked w Jonathan Chinn of Koons Sterling Ford. We found the New Ford Fusion Hybrid we wanted listed on their website, it was listed at a price that worked with our budget so we visited the dealership and test drove the new vehicle. We were pleased to verify that the price listed on their website for this vehicle was the actual sale price, so the only surprise we experienced was how well liked the Fusion Hybrid. Our overall experience with Koons Sterling Ford was a positive. We weren’t pressured or made to feel a sense of urgency by this dealership or our sales professional so we took our time and asked every question we could think of and received timely, accurate and professional responses. We purchased the New Ford Fusion Hybrid and are satisfied with the entire purchase process at Koons Sterling Ford. More
I drove my 2006 LCF truck into Koon's of Sterling for service due to the alternator light was on. Koon's chose to replace the alternator with one that was rated at 100 amps higher than the original. I p service due to the alternator light was on. Koon's chose to replace the alternator with one that was rated at 100 amps higher than the original. I picked up the truck and drove it about five miles when the alternator and harness caught on fire. The service manager assured me that Koon's would not touch the truck until after an electrical engineer / fire ivestigator looked at it. I found out from the fire investigator that the service manager examined the truck before the investigator could make an appointment to look at the truck. Because Koon's did not just simply stand behind their repair and fix the truck, my truck was in the shop for many months. I then received a call from the service department that my truck was ready. I was charged over $8800 for repairs that I did not authorize. Koon's had to install three new altenators to get this truck to both charge the batteries and not burst into flames. Even after considering this fact above, Koon's still will not admit that the first alternator installed that caused all of the damage was defective. I would not reccommend doing business with this company. More
My experience with Koons Sterling started out well. Anthony Southern did a great job trying to work with me to help me figure out what exactly it was I wanted in my new car. However, after visiting a f Anthony Southern did a great job trying to work with me to help me figure out what exactly it was I wanted in my new car. However, after visiting a few other dealers and looking over our budget, my husband and I decided we wanted to move down from the Limited trim of the Escape to the XLT to save some money. This brought us back to Sterling one night after my husband got home from work. What happened next, I still do not fully understand. Anthony was on vacation, so we were now working with Shane Sonner. When my husband questioned the price we were being offered and was trying to negotiate with Shane's manager, Brian D'Amico, things started going downhill quickly. Brian never once treated us with respect and instead left my husband and I humiliated. While my husband was questioning the price, and trying to negotiate a lower price since the car we were trying to purchase had been in an accident on the dealer's lot, he never once raised his voice or did anything to warrant the treatment he received. Brian began yelling at my husband and told us he "didn't like what was happening" and told us to leave. He said he would not sell us the car because he "didn't want a bad review." He told us this all in an extremely hostile and rude tone, and looked like he was working to restrain himself from exhibiting even more anger. What made the situation even worse was the dealership was closing in 30 minutes, so we were pretty much the only customers there, and almost every other salesman was standing around us watching this all happen. After about five minutes of trying to understand the price, with Brian raising his voice and being very hostile in front of most of the salesmen, and us still trying to buy the car despite the way we were being treated, Brian told us again he would not sell us the car and to leave. We left and as soon as I got in my car I was shaking and crying from the whole experience. It was humiliating the way were treated and no customer should ever experience such antagonistic and rude behavior from a dealer. What makes me even more disappointed is that I teach at a school five minutes from this dealer, so I am a member of their community. I cannot believe they would treat anyone, let alone a member of their close community, so poorly. After this experience, we took three days off from buying a car, and then we found the perfect Escape Limited, for less money, at a much nicer dealer in Maryland. I will never give my business to Koons Sterling and will drive 40 minutes away to shop in Maryland rather than go back to Sterling and experience more unprofessionalism. More
