Nightmare. Where do I start with the horrible experience with Ford and specifically Koons Ford Service. Let me start off by saying my family and I have been loyal Ford customers. This is the 3rd Ford I've owned and their are 2 other Ford's in the family. After this experience my family will never purchase another Ford again. It started by bringing my car in for recall work that needed to be done. In addition, my moonroof was not opening and closing correctly and the dome light was not turning on, I asked them to fix it. When I had purchased my 2013 Ford Fusion I bought the Ford Premium Care extended warranty for 7 years/75k miles. My car only has 33,000 miles on it. I specifically asked if the warranty covered the technology and the moonroof on the vehicle and was assured it was covered a long with mostly every other part. Come to find out Koons told me the moonroof is not covered under warranty and it would be almost $1,000 to fix it. When I told them it should be covered under warranty and showed them the warranty pamphlet that even says moonroof is listed as covered, they told me it's only covered under "electrical" and the part that controls the entire moonroof which needs to be replaced isn't covered. What a scam. Do your research about Ford warranties and you will find the same thing. They always find a "part" that caused the part to break and will not cover it. They deceived me and were deceptive with their warranty. I immediately requested for them to cancel the warranty and refund me the remainder and I was told I would have to go to the dealer in Massachusetts I bought it from. Let me get this straight, you wan't me to drive 700 miles to cancel my Ford Motor Company warranty? I lodged a complaint with Ford corporate and was able to cancel and get a partial refund on my deceptive PremiumCare warranty over the phone with them. I picked the car up from Koons and just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, that night I observed a piece of metal hanging out from under the rear of my car. When I looked under the vehicle one of the Koons Service tech's tool was wedged in my driver side rear coil-spring. My car's check engine light came on and their was a loud exhaust leak coming from the rear of the vehicle, all thing's that didn't happen until I got my car back from them. They told me they forgot the plug some hoses back in which caused my leak and light to come on and couldn't answer about the tool that was left on my vehicle. Where is the quality control? I will never buy another Ford product or any brand or service from anything with the Koons name attached to it. We recently bought a brand new Wrangler from Koons Jeep and we will never be bringing it their for service. More
Had a great experience at koons sterling ford I found a truck that I wanted on cargurus at sterling ford so I drove over a hour to get to the dealership. I was not disappointed that I did. I ended up getting a Ford fusion at a great price. Ask for Steve Arnold when you get there he went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied . I even brought my wife there a couple of days later and she got a Ford fusion also and they took really good care of her even though she was upside down on a previous car loan. More

He was friendly, professional, attentive and easy to work with. He also gave us his undivided attention, which we sincerely appreciate! Steve made buying a car a great experience and he is definitely someone you'd want to buy a car from! We didn't spend hours going back and forth about pricing and there were no surprises or hidden fees. We asked for an out the door price and he gave it to us. We feel good about the purchase - which we cannot say about past experiences at other dealerships. When we bought our previous vehicle it took over 5 hours, the guy juggled 3 customers at once and we felt like the sales guy was being slimy and not forthcoming. 5 yrs later we still talk about that negative experience and we're thankful that buying the Mustang was nothing like that. We drove an hour & a half to get to Koons in Sterling, VA and the drive was worth it. We would definitely work with Steve/Koons in the future and we highly recommend them. More

Koons Sterling Ford stood out, WAY out, from the competition in regards to price. I live in Indiana close to Chicago and they literally could not be beat by anyone within in a couple hours of where I lived so I made the decision that I was going to be flying out and taking an awesome ride home with my new car. Jason Robles with the sales team verified their out the door prices with me and won my confidence that I was dealing with an upstanding team. The communication with Jason was fantastic and not once did I feel like I was dealing with a run of the mill salesperson. I felt like I was dealing with a human being who actually cared about making sure I was comfortable with my purchase decision. What a major relief. An absolute buying pleasure. In the days that followed, he promptly returned calls and texts, and he put in a lot of time working with me to find a car I wanted. He was excellent. I was from Pennsylvania, so when it was time to get my car, I drove down in a rental car and Jason worked to get me in and out quickly. I don't know if it is true for other rental car companies, but Enterprise allowed me to leave the rental car at the dealership rather than taking it to the local Enterprise store (the Enterprise guy told me they often pick up rental cars at the Koons dealership lot). This made things a lot easier. Koons pricing seemed very good, and I was worried that they would hit me with hidden fees or spring something else on me when I got there (it was a four hour drive each way). There were one or two small fees or local taxes that I did not expect, but overall the pricing was still very good and it was worth the trip. I strongly recommend Jason. More

I am happy to say after 2 years of ownership of my 2014 Mustang GT the car and the dealer have lived up to my expectations. This is the second car I purchased from Mark Hunter and I will tell you he is a straight shooter. I even shopped them around a bit, and still got a good deal. Mark has been there for many years, and you can't say that about a lot of car sales people. More

EXCELLENT experience! JASON ROCKS! I shopped all over the internet for a new Transit 250 for my business. I was willing to travel if it meant saving thousands of dollars. I emailed a LOT of dealers, but one particular salesman stood out -- Jason Robles @ Koons. Jason made me feel comfortable right from the start. He answered ALL of my questions, gave me breakdowns so I knew exactly what I was paying for, was prompt to reply, and he just struck me as a good, honest human being. Jason gave me an EXCELLENT price, so I made an appointment to drive down and purchase the van. I made the 6+ hour drive from Western NY down to Koons Sterling Ford. I'll admit, I was a little nervous as to whether the 'smoke and mirrors' tactics would sour this deal. My worry was for nothing -- Jason came through and gave me exactly what he said he would. He was a real pleasure to deal with, and I will definitely contact him in the future when I need to replace my other vehicles! This is how all vehicle transactions should transpire. However, when we were unable to find a Limited in the color and equipment we wanted, Steve gave us a great deal on a Sport model and we decided to upgrade. After driving it for several days now, we couldn't be happier with the Sport. Great working with Steve. More
