I have purchased many, many cars over the years and have basically come to abhore the process...the high pressure, the knowledge that you are getting shafted but you just dont know how badly, the "secrecy" basically come to abhore the process...the high pressure, the knowledge that you are getting shafted but you just dont know how badly, the "secrecy" of the price. I was prepared for more of the same upon visiting Koons Kia of Woodbridge, but was shocked to find none of the negatives. Instead, they were willing to move at my pace, were very clear on the particulars of the deal (my trade vs, the cost of their car), and just never pushed. In large part, this is due to my sales person, James Elwell. Do not let his relatively new position as salesperson fool you. He understands the business, but he also understands his customers and goes more than the distance to meet their needs. We came to agreement on the my deal, but the dealership did not have the car in stock that i wanted. I didnt want to just "settle" on what they had given that i wanted something else, particularly a different color of interior. James and his manager searched for days to find what i wanted, calling dealers that were in about a 500 mile radius. It was a tough assignement, but true to fashion, they did it. I got EXACTLY the car I wanted for a price that was more than fair. Bottom line -- my experience could not have been better ALL THE WAY AROUND. We went there to buy a new car paying cash for the car. They hid another $1000 in the contract and tried to make us pay it as a down payment. Everyone know you don't have a down payment in a all cash transaction. It was mixed in with the discounts so it was hard to see and it was not label in any way. I thought I was dealing with an honest car dealership but I guess that would be an oxymoron. Don't buy a car from this dealer unless you take a lawyer with you. I will take them to court to make sure they never do this to anyone else. I will never again buy anything from Koons. I just wanted to get my wife a new car for our anniversary and they turned it into a nightmare. We spent the last month being badgered and bullied buy them to scare us into paying. The last threat was by a collections lawyer that said if we did not pay he would wreck our credit. Don't let this become your nightmare. Shop someplace else. More
Wow, what more can you say about a dealership who owns their customers. Hadley and Alan went more than the just "extra mile" for us-they made sure we left with the car that we wanted-WITH the price that their customers. They did not just give us a number and say "take it or leave it", they made it their duty to satisfy us. We went in on a Wednesday night, mind you we drove 2 hrs for this car, and left disappointed because the numbers just wasn't right for us. But between that Thursday and Friday afternoon, they worked some magic to get us in that car, that Friday evening. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and happy to see us back that Friday (2 days later). Employees that weren't even working on our deal, recognized us and welcomed us back with a smile and friendly banter. And Hadley was an awesome Sales Rep. He was funny, friendly and kept our 5 year old laughing with his "WOW" imitation! He made us extremely comfortable by being himself and allowed us to see his true passion for helping people. This dealership will continue to have our business as well as our family and friends!! Thanks Guys!!! More

The staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, thorough, and flexible throughout the transaction. Having come to the dealership after a previous visit with on-line homework complete, I knew which vehicle I wanted and knew the price to negotiate. When KIA did not have the vehicle decided on prior to the final deal, they went out of their way to find that vehicle and bring it to the dealership before the agreement to signing just so my daughter could look at it the next day. Their staff had all the paperwork ready for me and at exactly the price we negotiated! Having bought many vehicles over the years, I can say that this staff is by far the most knowledgeable about their products including the car care packages and maintenance packages that were also presented. I wanted to thank "Koons KIA" for making this happen so quickly without the long drawn-out process and ensuring that all the financing went smoothly too! An amazing group of people. I rated them very highly because they are VERY dedicated to helping you as the customer. That being said you still need to have patience with them all, there were a few problems that the company created tha to helping you as the customer. That being said you still need to have patience with them all, there were a few problems that the company created that could have been stressful but they have gone out of their way to rectify it. I recently had a mechanical issue where the key wouldn't come out of my new (used) car. It took Koons about a week to handle the issue and there were some hicups along the way but like I said before they went out of their way to help. They rented me a car, gave me a gas certificate for the gas they used (plus some) and once I picked up my car I realized the key FOB wasn't on the key. I brought this to Dazy's attention and rather than having my wife drive back tommorrow Dazy is going to bring the key FOB out to my house. How amazing is that coustomer service? Casey is VERY knowledgable about all aspects of the car buying process and also about the accessories for various vehicles. All in all I think this might be the best car buying expeirence I have ever had. More
I would first and foremost like to say thank you all once again for helping me get my first brand new vehicle! Its not very often that a 21 year old can walk in a dealership by themselves and get a new car w again for helping me get my first brand new vehicle! Its not very often that a 21 year old can walk in a dealership by themselves and get a new car without a cosigner. But, I have had the best experiance ever! After being turned down so many times and from representatives acting like they just do not care at othe dealers to walking into Koons Kia of Woodbridge and being treated like family. I must say they were constantly calling every step of the way, with every process and step it took to finally close the deal! Their exact words to me were "We're going to get you into a brand new car,just let us do our magic!" And thats exactly what happened! I drove away with a brand new 2011 Kia Forte EX on July 15, 2011!!!! More

Had a wonderful experience with Koon's Kia. I had located a vehicle (on the internet)that was at the Koon's Woodbridge site. I had e-mailed them various questions beforehand so that I would not wast located a vehicle (on the internet)that was at the Koon's Woodbridge site. I had e-mailed them various questions beforehand so that I would not waste their time (nor mine) in regards to the price and condition of the car. I drove over 1.5 hours to see the car! All of the members of the sales and service team were very friendly and courteous. Koons Kia was very willing to work with me to get the best price for my trade-in, as well as the purchase price of the other vehicle. Jessy (our sales consultant & Internet Mgr) has a wonderful personality. Mo (Pre-Owned Mgr) was very helpful when questions were asked. John (General Mgr) was very pleasant to work with when crunching numbers! Peter (Business Mgr) did a wonderful job in getting all of the paperwork processed in a timely manner.
