In the market for a new vehicle and because a good friend has a new Optima I decided to give KIA a look. I always joke that a new car salesperson can smell a buyer faster than any shark can smell a gallon of blood and today proved it correct. I was approached within 45 seconds of leaving my car. I asked and received the brochures and was given the courtesy of checking out several cars even though the dealer knew I was not going to buy or had even made my mind up on a dealer or make of car. I was treated like a neighbor over for tea and time was taken to show me the vehicles I was interested in without pressure or obligation. I was sent on my way with a handshake, the brochures I asked for, and more information in person than was expected. This will be my new dealer if I choose KIA – and after today they are my top choice. More
Justin was great. Peter Kim was OK but I didn't know kim was offering different financing from Kia that would knock out the kia rebate. The sales manager and the overall manager need to implement better communication practices. Here is the run down. After thinking I got the best deal I review the paperwork. Nothing but mis-communication and bullcrap. The advertisement on the internet a wow price thats totally mis-leading. Never believe the WoW price. It includes all the incentives that you might not qualify for. The sales guy justin was cool however all the numbers come from the managers and finance people. I just had it explained to me by the manager what happened the best he could say was you signed the paperwork. I could have just went to fredricksburg kia and got the color I wanted. This after all this practically begging me to give them a perfect score on the survey. If I do recieve a survey its going to reflect this crazy crap. I didn't have to negotiate because I thought I was getting the WOW price. I thought I was getting a rebate for being a student nope, I thought I was getting a rebate for financing with Kia nope the finance guy change it. Who knew the sales manager and the finance guy is in competition to see who keeps the finance? Update, Koons Kia of woodbridge got me back into the dealership and the customer service manager worked thinks out for the better. I look forward to future service. More
I have waited a month to write this review to make certain i would be providing meaningful advice to those new to buying a used car like me. I did not want to provide a knee jerk reaction immediately certain i would be providing meaningful advice to those new to buying a used car like me. I did not want to provide a knee jerk reaction immediately after the sale when everyone is automatically happy. Time was allowed for a considered review. I went to many used car dealerships looking for an older car for the kids. I tried to get honest appraisals of the cars over the phone before traveling to the dealerships. Trayz at Koons Kia was the only salesman providing honest answers being very respectful of not wasting my time just to get me into the dealership. I Drove 40 minutes to Koons Kia and was pleasantly surprised to find everything was exactly as she described. Traz was a low key and no pressure salesman. There was never a hard sale. She allowed me the time and opportunity to make an informed decision. I Received an honest evaluation of the condition of the vehicle from Traz (later backed up by an independent mechanic) and was allowed all the time I needed to make a decision on the purchase. She stayed an extra two hours after her shift to accomodate my family one night. When it came time to make the deal trayz and Ron were very receptive to reaching a deal we were both pleased with. Ron & Traz are very busnesslike without any pressure techniques. We agreed to an "out the door Price" at the table. Much to my surprise, when we finished the tedious task of completing the paperwork nobody came close to adding on a single "extra" charge. After the sale Traz has called us twice (so far) simply to make certain all was good and we were still happy with our purchase. There is nothing I would less rather do then buy a car. When I decide to buy the next car I will start the search process with Traz and Ron. The koons Kia dealership is far from convenient for me. However, the trust and respect Traz and Ron have earned will make it a no-brained drive. If you want a pleasant buying experience without the annoying and unnecessary pressure associated with buying a car, make certain you ask for Traz. Yes that is a "z" in her name. More

My initial interactions were with Cassey who answered my questions or got them promptly. I really appreciated the honest, candid conversations and ability and willingness to carry preliminary negotiations o questions or got them promptly. I also appreciated what I'd describe as the absense of the typical, expected sales cliche's and pressure tactics. After doing a fair amount of online shopping, Koons/Cassey presented the best price/value for the vehical I was looking for. The online information and my interactions made me confident enough that I drove 2 hr.s to make the purchase. My initial interaction with Dazy began in the time between expressing my interest and being able to make the trip to thier location. Dazy gave me a courtesy call letting me know that even though they had someone interested in buying, they were willing to hold the vehicle aware of my interest and intent on buying it. When I arrived to see and test the vehical first hand, it was being freshly cleaned and detailed. Dazy and Alan were great and very patient with my decision making process and gave me the time and space I needed w/out hassle, pressure or harassment. Also worth noting, Dazy and the rest of the team persisted in following through with a somewhat minor, but important to me, detail - the results of which was better than I had expected. I am thoroughly enjoying my new-to-me vehicle and it's everything I hoped and needed it to be. More
I was suddenly thrown into a situation of having to purchase a vehicle as a result of a serious car accident with my other vehicle. It was a very upsetting time for me and Mike showed extraordinary in purchase a vehicle as a result of a serious car accident with my other vehicle. It was a very upsetting time for me and Mike showed extraordinary interest in helping me. I had interviewed five online sales managers and Mike stood out as the best. One other wouldn't even speak with me because I had not received a pay off check for my other vehicle and another online manager showed some interest but never even called back. I felt like Mike had my best interest in mind and was not going to take advantage of my circumstances. As a result, I have a great vehicle, a safe vehicle which I got for a very fair price. I plan on buying from Koons Kia and Mike, specifically, in the future. Thanks to all of the Kia dealership staff who helped make me feel like I was being taken care of by friends. Great job!! More
In the four decades that I've been purchasing new vehicles, never, has this oftentimes uncomfortable process been so easy and, yes, enjoyable. Last week, Jennifer and the folks at Koons KIA extended vehicles, never, has this oftentimes uncomfortable process been so easy and, yes, enjoyable. Last week, Jennifer and the folks at Koons KIA extended my family every imaginable courtesy. To save time, many of the details were addressed by e-mail or discussed over the phone. On the day before our purchase, Jennifer toured the vehicle with my wife, taking time to cover the smallest of details. The following day we agreed on a price, finalized matters, and completed the transaction without a glitch. We just love our new Sedona minivan! Today, Jennifer is thought of more as a friend than a salesperson. She never pressured, knows her vehicles inside and out and, of course, delivered a tremendous value at a great price. When it comes time for our next purchase, the first stop will definitely be Jennifer at Koons KIA. More
