The night before I wanted to do a test drive, I called the dealership and had the good fortune to speak with Tamara Suvorova. We chatted about the availability of the car that met all my criteria (4 wheels, a steering wheel, radio – just kidding), and it was in stock. Tamara offered to show me the car that night up until 9 PM, or when it was convenient. I told he I had a crazy schedule, so she sent me a link to the finance application to get things started. I showed up at 9 AM this morning and asked to speak with Tamara. One of her associates walked me in and introduced us. She had the car parked just outside the showroom door, and we went over it with a fine-tooth comb. After looking at all the components we went for a test drive. Safety features were pointed out, and additional technical specks that were over my head. Whilst all of this was taking place, the finance representative was putting together several options. She explained them all – as some of the extra reductions depended on the funding particulars. This staff worked like a well-oiled machine. By 10 AM, I was taken on a tour of the service center; introduced to one of the service technicians; learned about options for dropping the car off after hours and loaner cars; and – more importantly – all the warranty information on the vehicle was explained. By 10:20 AM I was signing the financing and other necessary documents. In all the years I have been buying cars, this was truly a walk in the park. At about 10:45 AM, I met up with Tamara, and she brought me to the car. She pointed out key pages in the owner’s manual and then we set about to explore how every feature on the dashboard/console worked. We setup my phone, downloaded my contacts, I learned two ways of speaking commands into the phone. It was clear that Tamara was very concerned about focusing on driving and not getting distracted by muddling through smart phone buttons. Again, we looked under the hood – it was clear she knew all about the car and took pride in the quality of the vehicle. She pointed out information about the roadside assistance program and other options that I could consider down the road. Before I left, she had the dealership manager come to thank me. He asked about my experience, and I could not have been more complementary. For the first time in my life, I purchased and drove off with a new car in two hours. Tamara was genuinely interested in building a customer relationship for life. Her understated manner, and her willingness to listen made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Kudos to Tamara and her colleagues. I have no reservation in giving them five stars! More

Then the charge is taken out to make the "wow price" look even lower, but put right back in for the "price on the road". They have a disclaimer on website (good luck finding it). Moreover, the sales tax provided to me was almost 13%. Thankfully I caught it (Sales tax in MD is 6%). Then the sales tax was reduced to 10%, I still questioned it and the explanation was that I lived in PA. (PA has a 6% sales tax). Then explanation changed to "it was a lease rate by accident of 9% for sales tax). Final final price was a sales tax of more than 7 percent, which they told me the car was coming from Virginia so I have to pay Virginia and PA taxes (even though I'm buying it in Maryland). I didn't buy. The manipulation of the pricing scared me. I got 4 different prices in a 24 hour period, but the service fees and sales tax manipulation scared me the most. Another local dealer beat Koons final price because Koons loads you with fees and hidden charges that they roll into the final price. Sad. More

Unhappy Customer I would advise you all not to sale a person's trade-in until the loan has been cleared and they are no longer accountable. Regardless to the what the situation may be, you should not do things of this sort because its illegal! I was a victim of this at your dealership and forced to take a vehicle that I am not satisfied with you. As a service member, I would never recommend you all to any of my brothers and sisters at arms. More

He was not pushy in any way, but followed up with us periodically to see if we had any questions regarding the vehicle. We would highly recommend Kia, Koons and Gus to any friends looking to buy a new car. We are looking forward to long and satisfying relationship with them. More
