I was already approved by a bank with an offer in hand and ready to make my purchase. However, it seems no one was interested in following up with me when promised. “Fear not, the Koons Kia of Woodbri and ready to make my purchase. However, it seems no one was interested in following up with me when promised. “Fear not, the Koons Kia of Woodbridge finance team is ready to work with Woodbridge area drivers to find an auto loan, leasing deal, or finance package! From our team of finance professionals to our array of digital retailing tools, drivers can look forward to a distinctly modern finance experience at Koons Kia of Woodbridge!” Sadly, your finance team failed to live up to your online advertising. I fear not because I educated myself and got approved before submitting my application. I fear for your customers that do need help from a financial expert and are turning to Kia of Woodbridge as a trusted, local partner. I appreciate you getting back to me, but to tell someone you were denied via email, 4 days after promised, is not a “distinctly modern finance experience”. I hope Kia at Woodbridge learns from this failure and trains its employees to better serve future clients. For example, if someone is denied and you can’t find financing don’t just email them after the Sales Manager follows up because he didn’t see the expected sale go through. At least pick up the phone to break the news. And maybe if you cared enough, possibly even offer a solution. Do not say you will call back in 5 minutes and then fire your customer because they were denied financing. That’s a terrible way to do business. You all have wonderful reviews online but you really fell short of expectations. More
Prices advertised are deceptive. It took over a week of pointless back and forth to get an actual out-the-door price. Save yourself some time and 7-8K to the advertised price for the actual price. pointless back and forth to get an actual out-the-door price. Unlike some dealerships in the Metro Area Koons were painless to deal with and were r3efreshingly honest and straightforward to deal with, especially Ibrahim, our sales associate. I had a great experience at this location. Everyone was very helpful! Thomas tried really hard to find what I wanted and at first he couldn't find what I need, but in the end he found exactly what I wanted very helpful! Thomas tried really hard to find what I wanted and at first he couldn't find what I need, but in the end he found exactly what I wanted plus more! I was very satisfied. Tyler was also very helpful with my finances. He likes to work with you in any type of situation. I would give them more stars if I could. If you do come here ask for Thomas he will get you what you're looking for. More
This is my eight time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. I've never had a bad experience or regretted a purchase until I came here. Everything was great until after I finished signing the paperw dealership. I've never had a bad experience or regretted a purchase until I came here. Everything was great until after I finished signing the paperwork. I learned that I wouldn't be taking my truck home the same day about ten minutes after signing documents. They put me in a loaner for 3 days. I didn't get a full explanation on what needed to be done until two days later. They tried to spin the situation as a good thing because I got brand new brakes and lines for my 2018 truck. That's great, but they had to in order to get it through VA inspection. I still find it odd that the vehicle was up for sale when it hadn't even been inspected. It's a busy dealership, so I get it, things happen and people make mistakes. It's still a little unsettling knowing the lines needed to be replaced - the truck is three years old and has less than 28K miles. I also discovered that the sunroof was broken the day after they delivered the vehicle. It would only open half way and made a crunching sound. Since I live in Maryland, I had to get it through MD inspection. I didn't expect an issue since it's a newer vehicle. The vehicle failed inspection and I had to pay out over eleven hundred dollars to get both of my front struts replaced. Ford rejected the factory warranty for reasons that still aren't clear to me. Luckily, Ford did honor the sunroof warranty. They are covering half the costs to get it through MD inspection, which softens the financial blow a little. More
I am completely shocked by the horrible service I received. To say that I am not satisfied with the customer service I received is an understatement. I arranged an appointment with Khalid Nezami received. To say that I am not satisfied with the customer service I received is an understatement. I arranged an appointment with Khalid Nezami for a 2021 Kia Rio S on 06/16/21. He began our conversation with a degrading comment about women, stating, “they can’t do this(car sales) job.” Not only was his comment completely unprofessional, irreverent, and discriminative but it was very offensive to me as a woman. After showing me a price $3000 over the budget we discussed over the phone, Khalid tried to have me sign for the car without even having seen or test driven the vehicle. Ridiculous. After 2 hours of waiting for the car to be “tested” I was finally shown the car only to discover that this “new” 2021 Kia Rio S already had 100miles (although I was told that it was coming straight from the manufacturer) albeit, I never even got to test drive the car. I don’t expect this kind of dishonesty and unprofessionalism from an actual Kia dealership. When I (unsurprisingly) decided not to buy the car from Khalid, he told me that I was “not an honest person”. If the managers of this dealership don’t take action, I will. Save your time (& money) and go to the Honda dealership across the street. By the looks of the people walking out of this dealership they were not satisfied with their experiences either. More
From the moment I walked in, till the time I was walked out, I was presented with smiles, courtesy and respect. Matthew is the best, and I am very pleased. out, I was presented with smiles, courtesy and respect. Matthew is the best, and I am very pleased. More
So disappointed in Koons Kia! This dealership made it abundantly clear that they're disinterested in accommodating negotiations or financing agreements over the phone or via an online application portal, abundantly clear that they're disinterested in accommodating negotiations or financing agreements over the phone or via an online application portal, like most other dealerships. We were super interested in buying one of their used cars and literally would have bought it this morning without even test driving it if the Koons rep we spoke with would have been willing to put us through to her financing department when we asked about next steps. (We were trying to negotiate remotely from DC. She said they favored in-person visits and would probably be too busy to speak with us today because it's a holiday weekend.) She wasn't a mean or rude person, but our rep pretty much did everything she could to discourage us from buying this car. It was actually just bizarre, especially since we have the money and credit and would have just bought the car if they'd shown even a tiny modicum of interest or flexibility in working with us online or over the phone to settle the terms today. Not sure why it was so critical for us to come in-person before agreeing to the purchase. Our Koons Kia rep couldn't even tell us if the vehicle came with one or two keys and was unwilling to invest her time into finding out and letting us know. We understand that there's a vehicle shortage and demand exceeds supply right now. That's really not a great reason for passing over very customers, though. Just because a dealership has an abundance of business right now and doesn't need folks' business today doesn't mean it will always be the case. Koons Kia isn't the first dealership recently to let us know that they don't need business due to the used car/chip shortage, but they will be the last (we bought the same car elsewhere for a better price and MUCH better service.) If you treat people with respect, they'll be back. If you don't, they won't. More
