I received a call about offering to purchase my car, based on the KBB price on their website. I called them and after being put on hold, I was hung up on. Saw an ad of theirs on the new Kia telluride, so made appointment to test drive it. They called me three times to verify my appointment and all three times I verified the price with them at $39,000. After confirming the advertised price REPEATEDLY I went in for a test drive & only then found out they LIED and it was actually $52K with a bunch of additional dealer profit. LIAR! More

The lack of professionalism within the staff should’ve been a sign to walk away. Given the current market, I opted to find a low mileage used vehicle. I used the online tool available from the dealer website to submit everything. I called and explained my time was tight to complete the deal. The salesperson was kind, but clearly not well trained. Nothing I took the time to submit online had been retrieved, not used. The “sales manager” was somewhat aggressive and I personally found them unpleasant. The fact that they routinely made up unfactual “crap” to justify how they had arrived at a bottom dollar price for the out the door was only made better by a very customer friendly finance member. Had the pandemic not been impacting the availability of vehicles, I would have left this one with them. This was by far the worst car buying experience I have had in well over 20 years of purchasing vehicles. The Koons promise clearly does not exist here. More

Gran decepción, frustración, rabia y demás sentimientos negativos me están haciendo pasar en el Departamento de Servicios de este dealer en Woodbridge: el lunes en la tarde les lleve mi Kia Sportage, con u negativos me están haciendo pasar en el Departamento de Servicios de este dealer en Woodbridge: el lunes en la tarde les lleve mi Kia Sportage, con un mes de comprado, porque se insertó un tornillo en la llanta trasera derecha; me dijeron que estaba cubierta por la garantía y “supuestamente” la repararon. Salí de allí y 5 millas después tenía flat tire nuevamente. Lo regresé en una grúa y ya no me pudieron atender porque era tarde; el carro estuvo allí toda la noche y ayer lo llevaron a mi casa, otra vez, “supuestamente reparado”; anoche volví a tener flat tire y tuve que pagar una grúa, 95 dólares, para moverlo a casa. Hoy estoy sin carro, pagando Uber para ir a trabajar y del Dealer me dicen que ni saben cuándo cambiarán la llanta por una nueva porque no la tienen en stock. Seguiré informando pero, visto lo visto, no recomiendo este dealer para comprar vehículos. Son poco serios y engañosos. More

The Truck I have been searching for was there, the sales team I worked with were all courteous and professional, the test drive was very long and reassuring. I have to tip my hat to Sean and the manager he was working with (can't remember his name), they were amazingly professional even in negotiations. I can't speak for the financing department, I didn't get that far. I rated 3 stars because a deal was not reached between us, they stuck to their guns and I stuck to mine... But hey, that's the art of the deal. I walked in knowing the True Market Value of the truck I was going to see, which was significantly less than what they had it listed for, but I was willing to spend a little more than the TMV for the truck, just not what they wanted. There were some obvious kinks that I noticed on the truck that I wanted to purchase (significant rust for a 3 year old, beat up wheels, tires near their end of usage, normal wear and tear, bed cover was a little rough, bad tire sensors) which reassured me that the truck was overpriced and a fair negotiation was needed. Overall it was a nice experience, I just needed some more room on the negotiations to be comfortable with the purchase and they weren't able to meet that. If they want to sell the truck tomorrow, they know who to call... More

He asked me what I wanted and he told I called Kia of Woodbridge after 4:30 in the afternoon and Jordan Smith answered the phone…….. I was in luck!! He asked me what I wanted and he told me that he only had one Soul that fit my criteria and he said that he’d have it ready for me. When I got there he had it pulled up in front and I knew it was mine before I walked in the door! I also picked Jordan right out of everyone that was working there and called his name when I first saw him standing there! It was like deja vu! He made the whole process very enjoyable from the time I called to fixing my head rest before I drove off……I would recommend anyone looking for a Kia to call Jordan at Koons Kia of Woodbridge I would also like to give a compliment to the gentleman that assisted me with the financing portion of the deal: Mr Tyler Winchell. He made the process seamless and answered all my questions about the service plan and extended warranty! I have no doubt that I will have the same experience when getting my car serviced! Koons Kia of Woodbridge (Virginia) knowingly and deceptively sold me a vehicle that had a lack of proper maintenance, and that needed major mechanical repairs. Costs of the neglected repairs and maintenance were/are in excess of eight thousand dollars ($8,000.00). They also told me the vehicle had features that it did not (ie. parking sensors). Koons Kia LIED in their reply to the BBB in response to my complaints. Their response falsely stated: "Since the original complaint was issued, we have been in contact with the customer and the issue has been resolved. Customer is content with the final results with the vehicle." From that point, the BBB said the dealer told them that they spoke with me and everything was resolved so they're closing my complaint....xxx? I don't care what false positive reviews are being posting. This was my experience, and based on the way it all happened, it was not an outlier or anomaly. I now see their business model as lie, cheat and deceive to get the sale. Once the deal is done, screw the buyer! Note to Koons: don't bother adding an insincere, xx note about being surprised by my experience! More
