This year my wife and I decided to pull the trigger on a brand new vehicle for the first time. Tim was more than willing to help my wife and I find exactly what we were looking for and made sure the sale went smooth from the time we called him the first time until we signed the papers. Engine Light Stay away from Kool Chevrolet. I took my 2015 GMC there for an engine light at 37,000 miles. The service advisor Paul plugged his scanner in and retur Stay away from Kool Chevrolet. I took my 2015 GMC there for an engine light at 37,000 miles. The service advisor Paul plugged his scanner in and returned to the counter. I asked him what the reading was. He said it's just old codes and asked how long the light was on. I told him about a week. He wanted me to pay $105 for a diagnostic check. After I asked why he said your bumper to bumper warranty ended at 36,000. I told him I thought it was covered under the 60,000 mile power train warranty. He said no. That just covers internal engine parts. At that point I knew he was lying and left the dealership. He must have failed to notice my service history in the computer. That will be my last visit to Kool. When I returned home I googled the the problem and guess what it said. Disconnect the battery and the code will clear. I reconnected the battery and no light, problem solved. My auto start also works again. That code prevents the auto start function. More
