Before visiting LIC Hyundai, I visited a Volkswagon and Mazda dealership both owned by a competitor. The experience was horrible, to the extent that I left in disgust, despite leaning towards leasing a new Mazda 6. I walked into LIC Hyundai, was greeted by John Weisse, and it was simple as asking me what I was looking for and responding. He showed my wife and I the Sonata GLS, and took us through each and every appointment the car has, which there are many. Once we had an idea of what we wanted, we got on the road and test drove the car. My wife and I sat in the front, and John sat in the back with our 5 month old, and amused him while we took a nice long drive in the Sonata. We were won over, not only by the customer service, but the value of the vehicle. John showed us a terms sheet, I told him this won't work this is what I want to pay. He comes back 5 minutes later and gets within $10 a month of the terms I requested. I said close enough, shook his hand, and we had a deal. Within 2 hours, the car was detailed in the service department, tags were attached, the car was registered, and we were setup with an insurance provider. We walked in at 1, we were driving off in our 2013 Sonata before 5. I highly recommend John Wiesse, as well as the Sonata GLS with the popular equipment package, which includes heated and power adjustable drivers seat... worth every penny. More

I came to long island city Hyundai looking to lease a 2013 Veloster Turbo. From the beginning of my contact with the dealership to driving off the lot in my fully equipped Veloster it was a very pleasant 2013 Veloster Turbo. My experience started with receiving info online, and being contacted by Mr. LaMassa. We scheduled a road test and I was very taken with the car. Doing your research on your car of choice will help you out a lot. Mr. LaMassa was a pleasure to work with. He was able to get me into the car I wanted at a very attractive price the same day. That's the most I can ask for as a consumer looking at my first car. While waiting for billing and signing, Marc showed me around the service area and answered many questions about future maintenance and bluelink. Marc stayed with us even after the gate closing for the day to help set up Bluetooth as well as other features in the car. Damion in finance got us in and out of signing and was a pleasure. I will definitely recommend L.I.C Hyundai for any of your sales/leasing needs. The team was great to work with. More
On Friday january 11th I blindly walked into the dealership looking at the Velostar Turbo which i found very attractive. I really had no intentions of purchasing a vehicle, I was just there with my significant other for the experience. After falling in love with the 2012, Roberto and I spoke about all of the possibilies, options, and the peace of mind I will have with my new car. I was under no pressure what so ever. He guided me through the entire process and was very sincere in helping me help myself. It was a great experience that I will never forget. I left the dealership thinking about the car all weekend. Sunday I stopped by to see the car and Roberto and within a few hours I drove off with my new car. He took care of everything for me. All I had to do was sign. I cannot wait to get into my car. It draws sooo much attention, I tell you my car is fierce!!! Thank you Roberto!!!! and thank you to my very loving and supportive companion!! you are absolutely the best!!! More

I visited this dealership twice, once to test drive some vehicles and the second time to close the deal. I was in contact with Mr. Rutkay regularly after I decided on a Santa Fe. He got me the exact car I wanted with everything I asked for. It was a smooth transaction with absolutely zero hassle. I showed up to pick up the car and sign some paperwork. After having a bad experience. Criss stepped up and went over and beyond normal customer service to assist me. Not only did she resolve my issue with not receiving my refund, but she took the time to listen over and beyond normal customer service to assist me. Not only did she resolve my issue with not receiving my refund, but she took the time to listen and understand my frustration and personal situation. She gave me a call with every update. It wasn't so much not receiving the money, but the lack of communication that I was mostly upset about, and Criss was very attentive. Understanding what I was going through, and the long wait that I had, Criss had my refund personally handed to me at my doorstep. I was about to give up on this dealership, but if I decide to go with Hyundai again, I will come back solely by the customer service she gave me. More
