When we first saw this Focus, we were in Geneva Switzerland and had seen the Focus at the auto show there. Through email, Pete worked with us to help determine what options were available with which packages. This was not the optimal way to do things, but he was excellent and always patient. When we returned home, we saw him in person and finalized the deal, with him always making sure we had what we wanted. What also helped to make it a perfect experience was the assistance of Bob Rowe. He is wonderful, both with his knowledge of the car, the necessary settings, making all the new technology easily understandable, and being a lot of fun besides. What a nice young man! More

Working with Allan Ward was a new and positive experience. I had been looking for a vehicle for many months and worked with many dealers all over the state (and beyond). Instead of the usual speech about how low the price is already and how the dealership cannot afford to go any lower than 'cost', Allen asked what I was looking for in a vehicle. He then suggested a Fusion, which was a something I had not seen before. Walking around the entire car, Allan proved to be knowledgeable and positive about the special safety features of this car and its bumper to bumper construction. He was able to answer my questions about upgrades and changes made from year to year. I was convinced that he knew so much about the car because he, too, thought it was a good product. We never discussed the price because I thought it was fair from the start. However, Allan brought to my attention what the dealership had invested in making sure this used vehicle met dealership standards and was ready to be sold and driven again. He told me that salespeople are not under pressure there because they do not work on commission. I don't know if that was the difference, but I certainly felt relaxed talking to him instead of tense and ready for a confrontation as I had experienced with a couple other dealers. I was impressed that on a Saturday, every employee that needed to be a part of this sale was ready. All were friendly and helpful. The entire place seemed upbeat and I felt that Allan and the others I met were part of a successful team. The equation worked and I bought a car that day.
