I was having issues with my current truck and was looking for a used F250 for towing our camper. I've bought vehicles thru Doug Espeland in the past and have always had a great experience. I had mentioned that we normally work thru Doug and Travis was still more than willing to help us with the test drive. The following day, I was contacted by Doug first thing in the morning to discuss options for our trade in, which was sitting in La Crosse and the purchase of the used F250. They actually took my trade-in "as is" and towed it up from La Crosse. This saved me the hassle of having to work with the La Crosse dealership, which I had no prior history. Doug and Matt went out of their way to help get us in our F250 as quickly as possible before the weekend camping trip. I started my experience with a phone call, where I asked f I recently bought a 2009 Ford F-150 FX4 from Scott Murphy at Kocourek Ford Lincoln. I started my experience with a phone call, where I asked for sales. The receptionist gladly transferred me to a sales associate. The associate I was in contact with was Scott, I informed him of my trade in, and told him I was looking for something that a man would drive. Something a man would drive, yet still have class, and be baby friendly as I recently had a baby. He informed me of a few trucks, and a couple cars, I picked a few to have him remember so we could look at them on a later date when I was available to come in. He said he would jot something down, which I figured was just another sales pitch and when I came in I would have to remind him of the vehicles I was interested in. We set up a day that I could come in and take a few vehicles for a ride. On my way to the dealership I gave Scott a call, and let him know I was on my way. I told him I was in a minivan and my girlfriend would be there shortly. He said he would be waiting for us, and was currently not with a customer. Upon our arrival, he got to the door before we did. He came outside and to my surprise had note in hand with the two vehicles I was interested in. We went for a ride in the FX4 as this is the one I felt I liked more. We went for a ride, and came back to the office. I decided to put a down payment on the truck, since I didn't have my trade with me at the time. This process was easy and quick. We then set up a date where I could come back and bring my trade so we could get the ball rolling even farther. The day I brought my trade in, was the day of my brothers bachelor party. The party was 3.5 hours away, I let the staff know that I had to know as soon as possible if my trade would be accepted, and if I would be financed. They got to it right away, This process which anyone know is generally a lengthy process especially with the complications that went along with in my own words "not so normal trade". The process was no longer than it needed to be. They were very generous the entire time. Shorter than expected I was on my way in my new (used) awesome FX4. The whole staff from beginning to end was excellent. Ive dealt with a lot of dealerships looking for the one truck and staff that I seemed to "click" with. Kocourek Ford Lincoln nailed it on the head. I am very picky about not only the car I buy, but also from who I am buying from. This group of staff was excellent.
