I bought a 2013 Ford F150 4X4 earlier this month and am very happy with every aspect of the New Truck Buying experience! Joe Ramirez was my Salesman. Bob Rowe, the Sales Manager, in my opinion, was fair and honest throughout the deal. Cody Heath processed the paperwork and presented different options associated with warranty and finance and we set up a great package that I feel will work well for me. David Berumen, the Accessory and Delivery Coordinator, was a huge help to me in the "getting to know my truck" phase. He's still instrumental in getting everything set up and all the add-ons installed! Finally, I've only had a small interaction with them, but both Shane Meyer and Joe Malsack in Service have been great in ensuring my truck was well taken care of! From the very beginning to now and even getting the personal thank you note from Keith Kocourek, this has been far and away my best experience with a dealership. I was asked my salesperson Joe to write a few paragraphs on my experience purchasing a car from Kocourek Ford. I want to qualify that the car I purchased was for my daughter and was a pre-owned 2012 Nissa on my experience purchasing a car from Kocourek Ford. I want to qualify that the car I purchased was for my daughter and was a pre-owned 2012 Nissan Versa. This was the first pre-owned car purchase for me and my daughter’s first car. We were looking for something with good gas mileage, reliability and coverage under manufacturer’s warranty. The intent for her was to take the car back to school to finish her final semester and participate in an off campus internship. I had done quite a bit of research on pricing for this vehicle and was going to purchase it through Carmax until it popped up on Autotrader.com right before New Years. The price was really competitive for a car with 20K on the odometer so I emailed the dealership via the Autotrader website to see the car. Joe contacted me the next morning and we went to see it that afternoon. When I showed up Joe was finishing up with a customer, but he quickly got David to take us to look at the car and for a test drive. My daughter was also interested in the hatchback version of the same model so David arranged for us to test drive that version at the Nissan dealership across the street. Having now driven both the daughter could not immediately decide so we agreed to sleep on it. Later, not wanting to let the car get away from us she decided that evening she wanted the original car so I called Joe right before closing and put a deposit on the car to hold it until the next day. I came in and completed the paper work with my daughter and took delivery that day. Kocourek is what I call a no haggle type dealership. My transaction with them was an all cash deal against a very aggressive internet price. Not having to go through all the back and forth haggling in my many previous car buying experiences made this transaction about as low stress as this experience can be. They will try to suggestive sell accessory items like extended warrantees, floor mats etc. but in a very low pressure way. All and all the transaction was very good with Joe and David absent a few missed bases by me. First, David was literally getting in the car to pull it out of the showroom for us to drive it home when my daughter asked where the second set of keys was. David checked and there was only one key for the car. To get a duplicate set of these Smart keys is expensive and sadly it’s on me. I always assumed two sets were pretty standard and missed on that assumption. Second, our home is about ten miles away from the dealer and upon arrival I got in the car with my daughter so we could go over the owners manual and controls. It was then I noted there was less than a half tank of gas. Maybe it’s a pre-owned car thing but it’s the first car I every purchased without a full tank. The tank holds 11 gallons, so were talking $ 18-20 cost to them. Hoping that was just a miss and not standard ops. Despite these discoveries I would go back to Joe, David and a Kocourek brand again. Overall the buying experience at this dealership was good. However I do believe their prices are a little higher than the average I'm use to seeing. My wife and are were just stopping in to test drive an Escape to see if that was what we wanted. Kocourek did not have the model we wanted, or so we thought. The previous night that had received a Limited and it was there to look at and drive on the Friday we were to take out test drive. Doug was very knowledgeable about all the models we had questions on and helped narrow our decision down. We hadn't planned on buying yet, but with our questions being answered and the model we wanted available, we decided to buy. Overall, it was a pleasant and friendly experience. More
Very positive experience at Kocourek! Took our existing F150 in for service. It was fixed and we were pleased. While waiting took a 2013 F150 for a test ride, very comfortable. The sales people were very willing to discuss and come to an agreement for the price of a new vehicle. The truck was ready for pick up two days later. Everyone from service, sales, delivery, finance were very professional! Would definitely consider returning there for future service or another vehicle. Very satisfied!! More
