My wife and I who live in Milwaukee were in the market to lease a new car. My daughter recommended Kocourek Chevrolet in Wausau since she had just leased a car there. He explained all of our options and worked with us to get what we wanted in a vehicle and stay within our budget. I then talked to Marc Levy and gave him all the information he needed. Both of these people were very courteous and friendly. When we drove to Wausau to get our new car, Jordan met us at the door and even showed us around the dealership. Then he sat in the car with us and showed us how everything worked, including setting up our Bluetooth and Onstar. Marc followed up with all the paperwork. Both were so easygoing that it made the whole process enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend Kocourek to anyone who wants to buy or lease a vehicle!! More

This was my first experience buying a new car. i went to a few other dealerships that were closer to where i live but i was not treated anywhere near as well as i was treated at Kocourek chevrolet. Aaron worked with over a span of a couple of months and worked through a few hurdles to get this deal done. First of all, I would rate Marc Levy a "5". He was outstanding! Very personable, caring, and did what he said he was going to do. Marc was very credible and I would send anyone to talk with him to get a great finance experience. Keep up the great work, Marc! Our experience with our salesperson. . . not as wonderful. We purchased a used 2011 Chevy Traverse and basically knew what we wanted before even coming to the lot. When looking at the car we found several items that needed fixing (one of them I was very surprised was overlooked in the safety that is done on vehicles before being placed on the lot - a missing seatbelt in the middle row of seats and because of the missing seatbelt whenever the seat was put down it gouged into the seat and tore a nice size hole in it). Prior to picking up the vehicle everything was basically fixed that except for the seatbelt which they had to order. Very understandable! Kim seemed to understand that this was an inconvenience for us and offered a tank of gas, dinner, or again a "free oil change". Trying to actually get to have a conversation with Kim to get an appointment scheduled to get the seatbelt put in and seat sewn up was a different story. We played telephone tag because every time I called I specifically asked him to contact me at work but instead he would call and leave a message at home. My husband and I both work full time during the day and live about an hour away so getting the vehicle back for the work took some planning. Kim asked if we would be able to drop the vehicle off the night before then he would see if he could get us a loaner (we appreciated this gesture. I left him a voice mail letting him know that the day would work for us and requested that he call us back to let us know if he was able to get us a loaner. Never did get a response from him. We drove to the dealership and he was gone for the day. Another salesman was able to hunt down a loaner vehicle for us (as one was not ready for us). Thanks to the salesman who helped in Kim's absence! The loaner was a nice vehicle but was given to us with a 1/4 tank of gas. We made it back to our home city but of course had to put gas in the tank or we wouldn't have been able to get the vehicle back. Thanks Kim for the car wash when we picked up the Traverse; however, it really would have been nicer for a tank of gas in our Traverse to compensate us for the inconvenience that was no fault of ours. We felt Kim was a typical salesman. . .promised the world. If he truly followed through on every time he promised a "free oil change for our troubles" I think we should have received 4 of them. There is nothing that turns us off more but someone who is says something and doesn't follow through. More

We have purchased a total of four vehicles from Kocourek and the last two from the only person that we would purchase our vehicles from at Kocourek. We explained this to Rob and he totaly respected our decision and did not try to talk us into something we did not want or need. In minutes Rob found just the car we were looking for, a 2012 Chevy Cruze. Rob made our recent purchase of a 2012 Chevy Cruze a very pleasant and fun experience. After visiting one of the "other" dealerships on Grand Ave, and waiting over 45 mins to try to talk with anyone I left very frustrated. I stopped into Kocourek Chevrolet and within minutes of pulling into the lot was greated with a smile and was given all the help and info I needed. Without the stereotypical used car salesperson pressures. Giving them were my credit was approximately and the price range I wanted I was given multiple options to look at. From beginning to purchase and even after the sales team went above and beyond my expectations, and made a fairly major purchase which can usually from my experience be some what stressful, become a easy and fun experience. I have thought about the whole experience and can not think of anything negative about Kocourek Chevrolet. Without a doubt would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to stop here FIRST! And furthermore that "other" so called dealership on Grand Ave should ask Kocourek for some tutoring in customer service. More

Me and My husband came from Medford to Wausau to buy a used car, trade in our old car. while we were going over the paper work the new Sonic caught my eye!! But let Kim know we were in town to take a sister out for lunch, he said go ahead take this one out to lunch drive it around. I came back with a , was to be a firm no. But he says let me see what kind of a deal we can give you, a two car deal, long story short, both of these gentlemen, worked hard all day, took us threw the car, the paperwork, and I drove home my new car!! That very day.!! I am so excited, Kim told me to get my on star started ,on my way home. I was so excited I couldn't remember my address and had to call my husband. So thanks to these two gentlemen, there great at going threw all the details , explaining how all the extended warranty works. They are both outstanding, Thanks again guys. My first experience with Kocourek was in 2011 when I bought my 2005 Dodge Stratus. I had it for a couple months and then decided I wanted to trade it in. So I looked at other car dealerships but didnt f bought my 2005 Dodge Stratus. I had it for a couple months and then decided I wanted to trade it in. So I looked at other car dealerships but didnt find anything that I really liked for the price. So I went onto the Kocourek Chevrolet website and fell in love with a 2010 Mercury Mariner. I called and talked to Terry Schuett, he was very kind and prompt at getting back to me. I went up to Wausau (which is about 2 hours away) 3 days after I had talked with Terry. I was introduced to Marc Levy who bent over backwards to keep the monthly payments in my price range, he was AMAZING! I had to bring my 3 year old with and he was so friendly to her even when she spilled her hot chocolate all over his desk. He assured her it was ok and even cleaned it up! He went above and beyond for us. So I bought the car on a Saturday and by Thursday that same week my check engine light went on. I called Terry and he asked if we could bring it in. My fiance brought my car up there and spent 5 hours waiting for them to basically tell him that he would have to bring the car back the next week because they didn't have the parts in. So to make a long story short I drove 2 hours one way 2 times a week for 3 weeks because they couldn't figure out what was wrong. That is where Mitch (mechanic) comes in. He was very nice and very understanding with my frustration and he did everything to the best of his ability to try and help, I however being impatient did not want to bring my car back for the 4th week straight. I had called Terry and left a message he had a secretary call back who had no idea what was going on so I had to re-explain everything to her because Terry for whatever reason couldn't call me back. After I got off the phone with the secretary I called Terry back and to no surprise I never got a phone call back from him and still to this day have not talked to him since. I figured since Terry was the man who sold me the car he would be the one to help me figure out how to fix the car, but in the end Mitch and the GM Greg Jensen saved the day and made up for the month of problems and driving back and forth. Greg sent a Kocourek employee to my work to give me a loaner car and drove my car back to the dealership where they ultimately had to take it to the ford dealership to fix it. They had my car for a week and Mitch called me 2 times in that week to keep me updated. I received my car back today with a full tank of gas and a nice car wash. Although I had problems a month straight with my car I would still reccomend Kocourek to anyone who asked because of the outstanding service I got from Marc Greg and Mitch, I honestly would never go back to Terry I didnt like his attitude or the way he was professionally. But a HUGE appreciation to Marc, Mitch, and Greg. Thank you guys for a job well done and getting my car fixed!!!!! More
