They are amazing and even upheld the warranty on an issue I was having even though the warranty had just expired. Garbage service from a garbage dealership. Called several days before and scheduled an appointment for my Civic to have its “check emissions system” message checked out. I dropped the car off at my appointment time and was asked “do you plan on waiting here or do you want us to call you when we have an update?”. I told the service tech I wanted to be called. I had a friend pick me up to take me home. 24 hours later I had heard nothing from Klein so I called and was told “oh, it looks like we’re just about to check it out now” meaning they had forgotten about my car until I called. They called me a few hours later and said it was the thermostat and they would be able to replace it and have it ready by that night. I finally got a call late in the morning the next day saying they were finished. I told them I wanted a discount because of the poor communication and the fact they had forgotten about my car. They said they could discuss when I came in to pick up the car. I came on Sunday since it was the only day I could get someone to take me since my wife is home with our newborn baby. I went inside and talked to one of the sales people since the service department is closed Sundays. The sales person talked to a manager and said they could only give me the keys if I payed the full balance. I told them I wouldn’t and that I needed either a discount or for someone to drive me home since I had been dropped off by my mother-in-law on her lunch break and she had left. The team at Klein refused to help in any way and told me to come back tomorrow and that they couldn’t do anything to help me get home. I assume since there was no chance of a commission check for the sales manager there was no reason to help me. I walked to Target in the rain and had my wife pack our 1 month old baby into a car seat and come pick me up. Terrible service. Once I pick up my car I won’t be back again and I will be telling my friends and family to avoid this place as well. More
Klein Honda replaced my transmission in my 2001 Honda CRV. They failed to identify the problem and did unnecessary repairs as the service they provided was incorrect. My car still has the same problems a CRV. They failed to identify the problem and did unnecessary repairs as the service they provided was incorrect. My car still has the same problems as it came in with. I had brought the car in for them to fix their mistake. It took them two weeks and did not fix the problem, then proceeded to tell me I needed to purchase additional parts for them to install to fix the problem. Klein Honda then proceeded to tell me to drive the car as everything is mechanically safe then not more then a day later the car failed to operate in the middle of a busy road. I have brought it in 4 times already and is currently in their shop. I do not have confidence they will fix it so I feel scammed out of 3,500$ as they did not fix the issue. I keep hearing stories from ex employees on how they operate and honestly it is a horrible place for service. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. More
When I bought my car there was a warrantee, they immediately took the warrantee away when I went to sign tye paperwork. That was my first red flag. I shouldn't have bought it. Since then, they've broken my door and refused to fix it. They also have opted to lie to me instead of doing any kind of inspection on my car. My brakes were metal on metal, but their "technician" said my brakes were "good". It's clear to me that now that they have my money they don't care about me as a customer. I've paid to have free oil changes for the life of my car, but now that I've expressed my displeasure at how they've treated me and my vehicle, those oil changes are all of a sudden a "gift" that they may not keep giving me. They've also decided to blame ME for their poor performance and terrible service, which isn't a good look for a customer service based business. All in all I am disappointed with them. Their customer service borders on abusive, their service center has cost me money on "free" oil changes, and their management staff seem pretty incompetent. They got my money and could care less now.
