Thank you for the opportunity to correct some of the misperception a reader of the review may conclude from the story presented. Mr. Jones called the parts department and requested a parts only quote for a IMA (2002 Honda Insight Hybrid Battery). When you arrived at Klein Honda you changed your intention and now wanted us to install the part which entails about 4 hours of a technicians time. I had thought that you would understand, especially after you were advised prior to any work beginning that the price quote was not the price of the part only and now you would also now be paying a fee for a techs time and labor. The price for the IMA battery and the time to install had a retail cost of $2600 and you paid $2300 which is a good discount. Your issue, as you stated to me, was that you wanted the price to include sales tax. Sorry but that is something that we can not do.
