I took my Escape into Klaben because a door catch was giving me problems when opening/closing the driver's door. I walked in and was met by a smiling and friendly face, which is a rarity these days. Mike Brandvold did an awesome job, making sure my car was fixed to my liking as well as keeping me informed of how long I'd be waiting while the repair took place. I had a specific need for a cargo van for my business. I knew Andrew and called him for assistance. Even though he worked for the Chrysler dealership, he found an excellent product in the Ford line and fac knew Andrew and called him for assistance. He coordinated with the other dealership to get me a very fair deal for the vehicle with my trade-in. He worked very closely with the credit people to get me favorable financing. The service and knowledge I received at Klaben was outstanding. The salesman, JP Marozzi, was very understanding and knowledgeable when it came to any question I had. I was looking between a used jeep patriot or a used ford fusion and was able to test drive both. JP did not try to push me into a new car which is what happened when I bought my first car. After driving both I told JP I would rather go with the Jeep because I sat higher and could see more of the road. And he offered me a third option of the Ford Escape, which is ultimately what I went with. I had not looked at a ford escape before but after taking it for a test drive and reading up on it I knew this was the car for me. JP also helped me out when it came to explaining the warranty the car came with as that part always gets tricky for me. Overall I was extremely pleased with the experience and will definitely be directing people to Klaben when they are in need of a car. More

I had done plenty of research and spent time doing a considerable amount of legwork prior to going to Klaben to look at vehicles. My wife and I were interested in the Ford Edge, and I had taken conside considerable amount of legwork prior to going to Klaben to look at vehicles. My wife and I were interested in the Ford Edge, and I had taken considerable amount of time gathering offers for both my trade, and for an Edge equipped to our specifications at other dealers in the area. We actually first looked at an Edge at another area dealer and had a great experience with the internet salesperson, but upon stopping at the dealership to see the vehicle in person and potentially take a test drive, our experience took a complete 180. Prior to leaving their establishment, they had given me a low and high value of where they were on my trade-in. They were going to make some calls so that they could establish the highest number for me. The next day when they emailed me their official value for my trade, it had dropped a thousand dollars from the lowest value they told given me in person the previous evening. At that point, I decided I was finished dealing with them. That led me to a search of Klaben's online inventory. I came across an Edge equipped with all the options we were looking for. They only things that did not completely match our "first choice" criteria were the color of the exterior and interior. Because it met all the other criteria, I called Klaben to verify they still had the vehicle on the lot. I was transferred to Roscoe, and he took my information. He then went out on the lot to verify they still had the vehicle. Once he confirmed it was still there, he called me back and we scheduled an appointment to meet with him later that evening to look at it. I could tell just from our brief phone conversation, he was going to be very enjoyable to work with. He seemed very enthusiastic, and had a great personality. Upon arriving at the dealership that evening, Roscoe greeted us at the door as soon as we pulled in. He already had the car pulled near the building, and after a brief conversation, we walked out to look it over and take it for a test drive. During our test drive, I explained our situation, and what had happened with the previous dealer. When we arrived back at the dealership, he arranged for someone to evaluate our trade, and we began talking numbers. As I stated earlier, I came very prepared, and had documented evidence of offers from other dealers, including the one that we had left unsatisfied with the service. After he came back with their initial offer, I told him how far off we were, and presented him with the information I had collected. At first, I think he was a little surprised, and unsure of how to respond. He actually said he wasn't sure they would be able to get to the numbers offered by the other dealers, and said if they are going to give you that, go buy it. I told him I respected his honesty, and expressed I would highly prefer buying the vehicle from him and Klaben because of the "bad taste" I had regarding the other dealership. I told him I wasn't looking for him to beat there offer, but knowing where they were, I needed him to at least match it. Even though our experience had far exceeded the one we had with the other dealer, it wasn't worth a couple thousand more dollars. Roscoe then went back to the sales manager. At this point, my wife and I had decided it wasn't going to work out right now and began to prepare to leave. Just as we put on our jackets and gathered our things, Roscoe came back, handed us his business card, and presented us with his best offer. I looked at the number he managed to work out with his sales manager (unfortunately I do not recall the sales managers name, but I would also like to say our experience with him was as equally as pleasant as our experience with Roscoe) and not only did they match the offers I had presented him, he beat it. Now, I will say that I'm not a fan of the back and forth so many car dealers play when you are working on a deal, when it turns out like this one did, I'm a little more accepting. I'm not sure how they suddenly came up with the final number, but when I saw it, I think both my wife and I had pretty much made up our minds that we would be signing paperwork to buy the car. They beat the number I was looking for going in and exceeded all expectations. As it was already after closing time, we told Roscoe we would go home and talk it over, and if we decided we wanted to proceed, we would call him in the morning to finalize (even though as stated previously, I think our minds were already made up). The next morning, we called and told him we wanted the Edge, and would be in later in the day to finalize our paperwork. A little later in the morning, Roscoe called to get some information so he could begin preparing paperwork prior to our arrival and save us as much time on the delivery as possible. When we arrived back at the dealership to sign, everything was ready for us and we got through all the paperwork fairly quickly. We then spent a some additional time with Roscoe, as he made sure to go over all the features of the Edge so that we understood everything. He was very knowledgeable about features, and was willing to spend as much time as required to ensure we were completely comfortable prior to leaving. For anyone looking for a new Ford or Lincoln, I would highly suggest taking some time to visit with Klaben, and would highly recommend requesting Roscoe. I will say, all the sales staff we encountered during our time there were very personable. While it may take a little more work to get the offer your looking for, the service you'll receive will make up for it. It was a great experience for my wife and I. The only negative I can come up with regarding Roscoe is that he is a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. I guess everyone has at least one flaw. Go Steelers!! More
