Replacing our 2006 Dodge Caravan When our "check engine" icon lit up last Monday, we expected to have it easily fixed by our local mechanic, but instead we had to call our local Dodge When our "check engine" icon lit up last Monday, we expected to have it easily fixed by our local mechanic, but instead we had to call our local Dodge service departments to get the earliest appointment possible. Justin got us in right away, spent a lot of time and effort in a very courteous manner to deal with our aftermarket extended warranty company (which type we will never purchase again), and helped us with our decision that it was time to abandon our nearly 140,000 mile van. He then referred us to Don Jacobs (who came in on his day off) to review several options, show us a new vehicle that had all the features of our previous van (plus some upgrades made over the past several years), take us for a test drive, made a proposal, and had the van prepared to drive away in less than three hours after we arrived at Klaben Dodge. Brandy Whalen then finalized our good experience by completing the financial, title, and registration aspects of the deal and providimg valuable information for extending the warranty on the new van. After driving the van (and having several people admire the vehicle) yesterday, we were even further convinced that we had made a good decision that will provide us a very valuable service for years to come.
