the salesman Chuck Lindon made it happen. So I found an 03 chevy s10 here at Klaben. It looked pretty good, low miles and body clean for rust in the area where rust holes are common for trucks So I found an 03 chevy s10 here at Klaben. The truck looked good bodywise with rust, so I asked Chuck how it looked underneath, how rotted it was on the underside...He said he didnt know, but when u take it for a test drive, we will take it over to the garage side and put it up on a lift and you can look it over all you want to. So i got there, met with Chuck. very nice guy, very personable, not pushy at all. we took a test drive, did casual talking, not one time did he mention the truck, how it drove, nor how i liked it...just casual conversation. we just kinda chatted...I commented on how well it felt, the drive was nice. We came back to the dealership and went to the service side of the dealership so i could get the truck up on the lift so i could assess the underbody for rust/wear etc...the truck looked good all around but the parking break wasnt working...I told Chuck, get the parking break fixed and we can make a deal on a purchase...We came to a purchase agreement and I drove the truck home...bad news with the parking brake fix...short version is this, Klaben payed for a tow from wadsworth back to kent. they put it in the fix it bay, they put it back together. I came back and got the truck, supposedly fixed, problem solved...made it about 20minutes from the dealer...same xxxx that was broken, came up again...called the salesman Chuck...He jumped right in there and got it taken care of...the dealership had no courtesy cars available, so Chuck took care of me again and through the dealership got me an rental car, Klaben took care of the fees. Another day of taking a trip to kent and my truck was done right! More
