Tonya Beaty was a breath of fresh air when we contacted her about a 2023 Tacoma. So many dealerships were trying to charge for “market adjustments” over MSRP, or insane document fees. I thought it was extremely weird that the salesman wouldn’t let me drive the vehicle off the lot. Instead he took us to a random parking lot about 2 miles away and switched me seats. I never was able to drive my vehicle over 60 mph. Had I not already had a vehicle just like this one, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it based on the “test drive” where I was told exactly where to go and how to drive. Joe Machens did something similar to me, and I won’t go back there for a number of reasons. In a small town, I just thought this practice was weird. Next, I secured financing outside of the dealer because I work closely with a friend on this type of business. I was contacted by the salesman and the finance manager to question me about why I was doing this. It was weird to feel pressured to finance in house when I prefer to take care of my own business. Every thing went well. I was looking at a used truck with low miles. Camron was nice to work with. Kirksville motors made the deal happen. 3 days after the deal I’m having I was looking at a used truck with low miles. Camron was nice to work with. Kirksville motors made the deal happen. 3 days after the deal I’m having my truck inspected and it won’t pass. Has over 500 dollars worth of safety violations. Call Kv Motors and am told it was sold as is so they can’t help me. Be careful when buying a used vehicle from them as mine wouldn’t even pass inspection and they won’t help if it needs work. I will never do business with them again. More
