I recently purchased a 2008 BMW 335xi from Kingstowne and couldn’t have been happier with the quality of service or the quality of the vehicle. My 335 came with 2 years remaining on the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Warranty, and was in immaculate condition. I even wasted $200 by going to BMW to do a pre-purchase inspection to get a 3rd party’s opinion. The tech at BMW was amazed at the condition of the car and even more by the price I was purchasing the vehicle at. This is a family owned business and not your typical car dealership. They take a personal interest in your purchase and are easy to deal with throughout the process. Answering emails and phone calls extremely quickly; this was important to me because I had many questions. I also chose to finance the purchase through my credit union, which made an error which delayed the check. Kingstowne still let me take delivery of the vehicle, and gave me ample time to settle the balance on my purchase. I was very impressed with the selection and quality of their vehicles. I took a look at several, and they were all high end vehicles in excellent condition. Kingstowne only sells the best of the best. Their prices are pretty firm, but extremely fair. While looking for my vehicle, I failed to find the same vehicle in the same condition even close to the price Kingstowne was offering. Overall great guys to deal with, with high quality cars at fair prices! I would definitely recommend you check their inventory out, if you are in the market for a high quality car and don’t want to get ripped off by a franchise dealership. More

Very friendly customer service, great prices and willing to work with the customer to get their business. I was able to drive the car three times and have my mechanic come in, put the car on the lift to lo to work with the customer to get their business. Buying from a used car dealer is always intimidating and scary. My husband and I recently purchased a Lexus from Kingstowne Motorcars and were pleasantly surprised. After lots of searching we found the LX scary. My husband and I recently purchased a Lexus from Kingstowne Motorcars and were pleasantly surprised. After lots of searching we found the LX470 through AutoTrader and they had one of the lowest sales prices considering the mileage. We live out of state and were very wary about purchasing a car from such a far distance but the sales rep, Sam made us feel comfortable. He walked us through the car over the phone and described any imperfections and then sent us pictures when when we questioned some dings along with the photos already provided on AutoTrader. Fortunately my husband travels to DC for business and was able to check the car out in person. The car was just as Sam described. As expected with a used car there will be normal wear and tear. Fortunately our car was in great shpae. We then had the car shipped to us and all the while Kingstowne was prompt with answering all our emails/phone calls. The only downside was that the transportation company took 2 days longer to deliver but I suppose that's their fault not Kingstowne. We've had the car for a month now, and it runs great. Definitely happy with our purchase! More

I purchased a 2008 528xi through this dealership. The dealership is tucked in a small industrial park among a number of other auto businesses. On the positive side, the price was very fair. A similar car was listed at a local BMW dealer for about $3000 more. For the most part, the vehicle was everything that was advertised. It was very clean, and it ran well (except for some vibration on the front-right side at 65 mph). My only gripe, and the reason I cannot give 5 stars, is that the vehicle was advertised with Xenon lights, and it had halogens. Also, it was advertised as having 49,919 miles. It actually had 50,150 miles. While I was not really worried about the extra mileage, it did make one significant difference: I could not take it to a mechanic and have any issues fixed under the factory warranty. Fortunately, there were no issues that would have been covered under the warranty. There was an item that fell in my favor. Prior to purchasing, I asked about the number of keys. The salesman said that he thought there were two, but they could not locate the second key. After searching for several minutes, he said that he did not think they had the second key. After I purchased the vehicle, expecting to have to purchase a new key, we found the second key in the glove box of the vehicle (in a bag that contained the manuals). The vibration issue mentioned above turned out to be a dented rim. This is not surprising, given the vehicle's origin: New York. I had the wheel re-balanced and moved to the back of the vehicle. This stopped the vibration. A new rim will cost about $350. Because the dealer allowed me to test drive the car a couple of time (once for about 30 minutes), I had identified the vibration, and I knew a dented rim was a possibility. One other thing to consider regarding this dealership: they are a bit slow in getting the title out. They post clearly in their sales floor that they require 14 business days to send you the title. I think it may have been 12 business days before I could go and pick up my title. While 3 weeks to get a title probably won't affect too many people, if you buy through Kingstowne, you need to be aware that you'll have very little time to register your vehicle (the State of Virginia requires you have the title in hand to register a vehicle). Minor gripes aside, I got a good car at a fair price. I never felt pressured, and I had plenty of time to inspect the car and test drive it on my own. I would use this dealership again. More
