I drove my car to their location and made the trade. Remember they hadn't seen my car either. At my request, and expense, only $80. they delivered their car for a complete inspection to a nearby Mercedes specialist. I used a faxed copy of this inspection to purchase a warranty from my local Mercedes dealer that went into effect when I picked up the car. A couple of small items were noticed during the inspection and we negotiated a solution with no problems. These guys know their cars and they know how to buy and price them. If you are looking to steal the car you are buying, go somewhere else, you will avoid wasting both yours and their time. On the other hand, they are reasonable, can be negotiated with, and are fair. I consider myself a professional regarding the cars I purchase, and I do my homework. Both Bill and Sam are also professionals and I always enjoy working with people like them. I have had my car for two months, and 4000 miles and couldn't be happier. Everything they said they would do, they have done. I have read through a long list of reviews of Kingstowne Motorcars and I had to laugh at some of the accusations, obviously made by people who are not professional and expected Bill and Sam to read their minds. This is about the only thing where I found them lacking. Everything else was indeed a pleasant surprise, And I strongly recommend you try them, you won't be disappointed. More

Both times they let me look over the vehicle, test drive it, and take to it to the dealership for inspection by myself without looming over me, giving me a sales pitch or pressuring me to buy it. You won't get this experience at a large dealership. They even stayed late Friday evening to meet me after the dealer took their sweet time and I got stuck in dc rush hour traffic. These guys have great taste/selection as well.. if you're looking for a luxury or performance vehicle, with most options, good color combos and without the initial depreciation of buying a new car. Their prices were pretty firm, but they were already a good bit below KBB value, so I think it is a very fair deal. Also, buying out of state, I got an envelope in the mail a couple weeks later that had all the paperwork for completion of registration filled out everywhere except where I needed to sign, which was highlighted in yellow. This was a nice touch as it saved me the hassle of filling out the forms. More

When I had trouble with Geico (as GEICO wants to replace the previously spotless convertibel top with an old one in a visibly used condition), they instantly sent me the pictures of the car (prooving it's excellent condition) - even 1 year after the purchase! (...unfortunately GEICO still insists in usin only a rugged one for the replacement) Bottom Line: Edxtremely well maintained cars and an exceptional service, even long after the deal is closed. More

Everyone was super easy to work with. Sam spend some extra time time making sure he got me the best interest rate. Very informative in regards to all the paperwork needed. Easy to talk to. Well, its a used car dealer stationed in an industrial park. If you can get past the fact that there is no showroom and the overall dingy state of the office, you'll be fine. If you are not very experienced with buying used vehicles, I would not recommend this dealer. Having said that, my general experience was a good one. I had been stalking older Cadillac CTS-V's for a few months and this dealer had acquired a prime specimen: a 2005 with less than 40k miles and even in the color I wanted. I went to test drive the vehicle to verify it was mechanically sound and all the lights and whistles worked properly. The car seemed to be in good condition (I'm not a mechanic, but I'd like to think I can spot any glaring defects). The only real problem was the detailing job. The interior looked like a grease bomb had exploded inside and it smelled awful. The price was in the ballpark for blue book and researched market value and I was ok with what I paid (note that I cut a check and did not use any of their financing options). I took the car to a Cadillac dealer the same weekend and had them inspect it, flush all the fluids, do a general walk around, etc. No problems to report and it has been running like a champ since (about 7 months). After 8 hours of internal and external detailing work on my driveway, the car was practically like new. Overall I would recommend KTown, but not for rookie buyers. If you know what you want, your price point and can effectively test drive a used vehicle I would head over if they have a car you are interested in purchasing. More
